Bell is a safety and needs moved back there immediately.

LB will be helped with the return of Overshown.
I pray that Kearse (and Hooker, truthfully) are time next year, so that’ll open up playing time for both Bell and Juanyeh Thomas who I really like

THink thru a extension for Dak in terms of making him more tradeable. Dak gives up no trade claus as part of the deal. No Maas if he wont.

Im also on the Lance train, Cowboys know what they got by now.

We are back to adding to the D as FA/draft emphasis, agree on LB... Overschoon at least moves Bell back to safety and adds size,

Once Osa tired again, lost penetration up middle our pass rush got neutered.

You have to wonder what the Cowboys could get in trade for Parsons and Dak. It could be a quick rebuild if you get enough resources.

This defense missed LVE badly. Kinda weird there was no backup plan to replace LVE in case of injury. It's also weird that Mazi played 3T. This entire DL was way too light and relied too much on stunts up the middle which left the dt's out of position. They also left Parsons on the LOS way too much where he was too vulnerable to holds, chop blocks, or being washed out of the play too easy..

They tried to fix the run defense. They drafted a NT in the first round. The effort was there.

The Cowboys would have lost that game even with prime years Tom Brady at QB.

Yes, Dak/CeeDee failed but it didn't matter.

Just sign the best free agent RB and spend all other resources on the defense.

Must stop the run.

Also, none of the CBs are burners. Diggs, Bland, Gilmore and Lewis are all good but none are ideal matchups vs the elite speed WRs.

LBs...Add one elite off-ball LB and Clark/Bell would be fine as the 2nd and 3rdLBs in the depth chart instead of 1st and 2nd.

Envision the defense with a Fred Warner clone added. Even with no other changes, that would completely change this defense.

...No, Shaq Leonard wasn't that guy anymore...

Having said all of the above, I wouldn't extend Dak's contract. He is under contract for 2024; although that prevents them from pushing any of his 2024 cap hit into the future. Coul

Give Lance a chance.
Couldn't wait to read this...

This one, Dak played poorly with momentum all on the opponent's side. Green Bay was already ahead of Dallas at attacking all Dallas concepts in the game and there, Prescott was careless in his decisions. That is still a trainable element that can be lead through. I'm not sure there is the ability to do just that. It's not just feeling top of the world, but seeing what is really going on. I hope that Jerry has accumulated enough instinct himself, to know.

Bingo on a mid-level running back for one year if Pollard takes a strong reduction in salary. Otherwise, what you stated.

Secondary is chock full of tough views. This game Gilmore was worse than bad even with depth at 10+ meters. He had his lunch eaten. He is a free agent along with Lewis. Add in Diggs first season after injury and Bland being taken advantage of in a few games...there are plenty of questions there or scheme changes needing some serious work.

I prefer a strong free agent for the linebacker slot and leaving the draft for a very quality offensive tackle.

Agree on the effect of a strong linebacker would add...even a new DC.

I believe Quinn has said that if he does return he will look to phase out the one remaining spot for a true LB on the field and then look to start experimenting with safeties playing rush end.

No one gets a pass for yesterday

Maybe Ferguson.

So trying to blame it all on the D when the offense gifted them points and could not do jack until it was 27-0 is BS

Even now, Donalds would change everything around the box.
IF we just another Hankins clone or equivalent it would be enough on the line; but we need LBs that can blow up runs as well

Honestly offense.

0 passing yards in the first quarter. Unless you're playing in a snowstorm, you aren't beating anyone like that in today's NFL.

When you have 6DBs in like 80% of the defensive snaps, any team with a descent run game can just gash us over and over again. Buffalo won the game with Josh Allen throwing for around 90 yards total.

You think Brady tosses 2 picks? Why?
