Yes, Dak/CeeDee failed but it didn't matter.

Just sign the best free agent RB and spend all other resources on the defense.

Also, none of the CBs are burners. Diggs, Bland, Gilmore and Lewis are all good but none are ideal matchups vs the elite speed WRs.

LBs...Add one elite off-ball LB and Clark/Bell would be fine as the 2nd and 3rdLBs in the depth chart instead of 1st and 2nd.

Envision the defense with a Fred Warner clone added. Even with no other changes, that would completely change this defense.

Having said all of the above, I wouldn't extend Dak's contract. He is under contract for 2024; although that prevents them from pushing any of his 2024 cap hit into the future.

You are better at cap than I am but I don’t see how we keep Dak as is and do anything in FA
I’d consider trading one of our young stars who are about to get paid. Lamb, micah and bland are all gonna cost big money. My thinking is trade bland since Diggs is already paid. With another cheap year on his deal bland couldn’t ever be worth than right now. Curious to see your thoughts on that

Bell is a safety and needs moved back there immediately.

LB will be helped with the return of Overshown.

We hope, but I really like Overshown. add a few pounds to bell myself he could add 10-12 lbs pretty easy even if he plays more safety.But I’d listen to what my new DC thinks because I’m firing Quinn and MM. let the next Hac hire the staff he wants
