Defense won't be the same defense

Go back and look where our defense ranked the first few weeks. I replied to a comment that said we didn't have a top 10 defense before the injuries and I commented how we did, just posted one part of the defense because we was number 1 there. Stats don't mislead, you either top 10 or not that's how you determine that is by stats.

Stats do mislead. If you can't stop the run, teams will run on you therefore passing stats will be minimal.

Rob talked alot and I don't dislike the man but he showed no aggression, I expected to see his fathers defense and what I saw was a very conservative approach

Hard to believe he is the son of Bubby. Buddy went after you on 1st, 2nd and 3rd down as well as all game long. Not much of a offensive minded coach but when it came to defense you knew Buddy would be after your QB all day long.

No way in hell do we give up on BW Webb just in his second preseason game in his young career. Cornerback have growing pains and everybody isn't able to come in fresh out of college and be productive. Kid has to get used to the speed of the game and proably will take a while.

I remember when Scandrick couldn't cover a table his first year inthe league and QB eyes lit up seeing him on defense.

We was decent in stopping the run as well. Stop looking at what they finished, through the first few weeks if last season dallas had a top 10 defense. Like it or not that is the truth, after the injuries we dropped quick from top 10 top bottom half of the league.
