40-0 is unreal the very first game on the road in the NFL. With that said, the entire NFL will fear this defense.

The offense, on the other hand, looked suspect and out of sync. Dak had that deer in the headlights look. He was ridiculously over throwing his receivers.

Your thoughts?
I do believe that there were 3 drops that would have been td's........Dak played well....

Honestly they all played well but the conditions were tough, for sure I want the TE's to catch the ball. The backup OL, the RBs, the whole offense looked good and most of all MM did what he said he would do... he called a good game that played in sync with our defense and had Dak getting the ball out very fast.

Are you serious? How many possessions did the offense get last night with the D playing like it did? Did we stretch the field? No we didn't have to. Go outside in a monsoon and throw a ball. We rested our starters in the 4th also and were just running out the clock. The O was rusty but considering the conditions and don't forget the starters sat in the preseason, I ain't worried one bit about this offense.

Dak had three dropped TD’s by his TE’s, but no one wants to talk that. Secondly, bad weather effected every QB that played in the northeast yesterday. Lastly, this is the first game against anyone that the entire offense played this year as the didn’t play in the preseason.

RELAX!

No playing time during preseason, rainy weather and a new offense is going to create an out of sync offense... Also, several easy passes were dropped, at least one for a TD.

Ultimately, we had an effective offense that complimented this defense by not moving down the field too quickly and not turning the ball over. We didn't need Dak to air it out and throw for 500 yards, and that's a GREAT thing.

I disagree with your post and I think this is why McCarthy wanted to take over play calling. The strength of this team is our defense but let's not forget that we were a top 2 offense the last two years. The point is to play to your defense's strengths and play complimentary football. Ridiculous play calling and risk taking was not called for when your ST and D are lights out. Sound efficient football. Dak was not called on to air things out or to potentially put the defense in poor situations (think GB and Jax games last year). We played on the road, in the driving rain and put up three TD's without a turnover. Dak missed a TD to Lamb but also had one dropped and another drop stalled a drive in the redzone. I didn't see the deer in headlights look you're referring to?
