The Hardline was saying today they've heard from people inside the organization that the lockerroom has a black/white problem. If true, you might as well drop the nuke bomb on the roster and start from scratch, because the TO team cancer "worst case scenario" has officially happened and the dye has been cast.

This isn't anything new....it is happening around the league. Back in the 90's some players wore the "soul patrol" hats to work against all white players...yet they still were able to play as a team and win three SB's.

The racism that doesn't get talked about.

LOL, so let me get this straight.

Deion Sanders runs his mouth about Terrence Newman's comments...and it's T.O.'s fault? Owens made him say it?

:laugh2:

Now, it couldn't possibly be that Deion read the Werder article and jumped to his own idiotic conclusions that it must have been Romo/Witten who leaked the story. Nooooo...couldn't possibly be that.

Or that Deion read those BS ProFootballTalk articles and actually thought they were true.

And double LOL @ "racial divide in da locker room." Does this divide include Owens sending Tony Romo text messages before the Eagles game?

Hey, was Terrell Owens responsible for Katrina?

:D

What The Hardline is reporting is hardly anything new. The Cowboys teams in the 60s, 70s and 80s had cliques divided upon Racial Lines and they still had success. Heck, in the 90s, some players actually felt that the reason Troy Aikman was paid without much of a hassle and Michael Irvin had to fight for his contract had to do with race.

NFL lockerrooms are not immune to the ills of Society.

However, what I want to know is why is Terrell Owens being blamed for a racially divided lockerroom?

There's a difference between teams with cliques formed around racial lines (heck every high school in suburban America has those) and one whose locker room is split along racial lines (if that is what is happening here). But if it is the latter, its not clear that Terrel Owens is the cause of it.

It's just a weird coincidence that lockerrooms split wherever TO goes. It's unfortunate for TO that such a flukey thing has happened with every team he's ever played for and it all gets blamed on him.

The only locker room split Owens has ever been involved with was Donovan McNabb + Eagles management vs. Everyone else.

The Cowboys' locker room split is pure fantasy...unless there's some sort of mole and Ed Werder wasn't just making his quotes up. Then it's Mole (Bobby Carpenter?) vs. Everyone Else.

Talking poorly about Newman on this board is blasphemy.

Don't mention injuries or ball-skills, or the enormous contract he signed. Just believe that he is one of our best players because he shut down Steve Smith a few times years back.

It is hard to take Newman's comments about accountability to seriously when he was flat-out raped by Desean Jackson in the finale.

How the hell do you get raped by a rookie WR and then talk #$%^ about how somebody else ruined the season???

Newman needs to just shut the hell up, he didnt even play half the dam season. In fact, has Newman gone a whole season without getting hurt since he inked his deal???

Just saying......

Lets see: Newman was injured for most of this season and was never 100%. Even had to have surgery afterwards.
Maybe that would have made no difference but only a real MORON would discount it.

No one is discounting it. You're the one who keeps creating all these imaginary people that blindly hate Newman.

Newman is a great corner when healthy. But a 30 year old corner that got paid like one of the best - should make plays, and stay on the field. Newman hasn't made many plays in his entire career here, he's only scored 2 TDs (edit: those two huge plays came against a gift pick against the Jets, and a punt return TD against the Lions)

So maybe claiming that he's one of the best and leaving no room for scrutiny is MORONIC.

Umm, what does that have to do with anything? I don't think Tony considers himself "Mexican" anyway. I think he considers himself from Wisconsin. He never draws attention to his ethnic background. The NFL could have exploited that during Hispanic outreach month for marketing purposes, but it didn't.

Did anyone hear Deion last night on NFL Network last night talking about Newman's comments about cowards ruining the season and too many guys being unaccountable in the organization? Eisen asked Deion who Newman was talking about and Deion emphatically said Newman was talking about Romo and Witten. He thinks the team can get past the locker room divisions though as he thinks the Defense will be fine and Garrett will be better next year.

Deion talking about locker room division? He divided himself from EVERYONE in the locker room.

You know really what ruined this season was not a coward, it was a Dline and LB's that allowed 2 80 yard TD runs in the last 4 minutes of the Baltimore game.

The offense had finally found its rythm at the end of that game and we would have won it if the defense would have held on either one of those plays.

The defense who folded like a tent in the Rams game.

The defense that folded like a tent in the Arizona game after the tip pass completion for a 1st down.

That Baltimore game was the season ender, not the Philly game IMO.

So I have a big problem with Newman if he is calling Witten or Romo the coward.
Plain and simple!

While I can't argue with you about those two long TD runs costing us a chance at winning the Balt game, it was the offense that let us down taking the whole season into perspective. This team should score in the thirties which is above the NFL goal of 25+ points a game. The defense played well enough to win enough games to put us in the playoffs. Both could improve but the biggest blame in on the offense. Otherwise Wade would be gone rather that still have a job.

I wonder how Philly got to the playoffs and to CC games and a SB with TO on that team causing so much disruption they folded? You may argue he cost them a little but I'd blame more on old McNabb than TO for their failures.

This entire thread is hilarious. No one knows a thing for sure other than we choked or rather failed in our goals and most everyone's expectations both fans and foes alike.

It's called a mob.

I agree you can blame a lot of places in the last season, but those two long runs in the Baltimore game were just inexcusable and unforgetable and they, by themselves, cost us any shot at the playoffs while we were still in the hunt. We had the Philly game but I don't think we had a chance in that game after what occured in the Baltimore game. I said it before the game and I say the same thing after. Coming back a week after allowing those two runs and trying to win a abosolutely necessary game - they could not do!

The Eagles best seasons were win their defense carried them.

Their secondary makes plays, something ours doesn't/hasn't.

60 sacks and 8 interceptions is pitiful, our corners have never had ball skills.

Again I'm talking about all season while admitting those runs cost us that game. But winning 2 or 3 games earlier in the season would have meant playing for the number one seed and not just getting into the playoffs. The defense generally did their job although I agree wholeheartedly they let us down at times stopping important drives. Putting those important stops in toto though they generally gave us what we needed.
