Roy said he and TN were good friends and he was cool with what he said after they talked about it and it wasn't a problem.

And you're still hung up on it?

And "Know" when used in regard to intelligence is spelled K-N-O-W but I am sure your unfamiliarity with KNOWing anything or intelligence is what caused you problems there...

You're welcome.

You got me, lol.

And please keep going back over my posts again and again and again and again and again...

One day it's going to pay off and you will learn something.

:lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

And what Jackson said is exactly the point you were arguing.

You just never admit you were wrong. It's sad.

Using the logic argued, it would have been inappropriate for Roy to say anything else, so who the hell knows how he really felt about it. :D

Yeah, I cry about it everyday. lol.

I was merely providing some history for 'Mrs. Newman' to show that her son isn't some 'angel' who is perfect.

He just can't admit that Newman does no wrong. He can't just admit that Newman, along with about 80% of this team, has to stop thinking the media is a part of the Dallas Cowboys family.

LOL. You definitely haven't heard my shows with Grizz and Shango recently because I have been all over Romo.

And why would you think I give the offense any breaks.

I am an equal opportunity 'non-homer' who bashes the team on all fronts.

Did you start a thread on Tony Romo talking about "being exposed" the "schemes", "hot reads"... ect.. ? I called you out for not holding a bash Romo thread like the one you started with Newman. That is a double standard. Did you start a thread on Terrell Owens? There are people who don't listen to your radio show, you know. I bet Newman got the double dose.

Again, Newman challenges Phillips, your favorite "cupcake" dagger target, to take control of the team, and you dagger Newman.

This sums you up. Newman behaved like an Old Testament guy from Kansas. That is beyond your construct of thinking. You just don't get it.

DeMarcus Ware is my favorite player, too. You'll probably go after him when he gets his big deal the first chance you get. Where's your loyalty?

All right. I got a little too upset with the "you wouldn't say that to my face".

I apologize for that, Mrs. Parcells.

Marcus Spears
Bradie James
Kevin Burnett
Chirs Canty

All these guys played much better in Wade Phillips' defense. However, when they dared to compare and contrast the two defenses when asked by the media, you know what you did. You put blind folds on them and tied them to a tree. You grabbed your daggers and waited for them to fail. You don't like Marcus Spears, because he dared to question your hero, Bill Parcells. Never mind that Jason Fergusen said, "We all looked like a bunch of dancing elephants" going sideways.

We'll, two years later, they didn't fail. They played very good football. Phillips got more out of them than Parcells ever did. Not everyone can be a super-star. You don't win without guys like this. Bradie James deserved to be in the Pro Bowl this year.

I think you still owe these guys an apology, especially Spears. He's a solid player. He does the dirty work. You can cherry pick all you want.

This is the type discussion you get when your team is out of the playoffs. :(

The reason I don't buy this is that Andy Reid is a very respected coach, and TO tore up his team, too.

I don't think there's any coach who can stop TO from pulling his act... Except to insist TO isn't on his team to begin with.

And IMO the way this could be solved would be to cut TO and announce to the rest of the team that everyone on his "side" can either deal with it, or ***** and moan about it for another team.

Preach it!

Anyone who would call Witten a coward would call Roseanne a super model.

I know this thread is getting tired at this point. But i think i might be able to clarify what some people that seem to be anti Newman at this point may be thinking.

As a player we all love Newman. But when our team falls apart from the inside this year we dont want to see or hear him in an interview rehash the same old crap that we just went through. The wound is still fresh. What he should have said is "we had a tough year, as a team we need to find a way to grow, we have a lot of talent and we all have the same goal and expectations, and if everyone comes back we will focus our efforts on making sure next year turns out differently" or something to that regard.

make a statement that makes you sound more like a leader that has the ability to move on and fix this mess. Not a bitter child that is still trying to find a way to get even in the media with this "coward".

Every player on this team needs to shut up. They need to start thinking about whats best for the team. A strong team would not have let something as stupid as the receivers meeting the OC to talk about their role in the offense getting leaked to the press as a reason for a failed season. Come on really. How bad was it that someone told a reported that the receivers met Jason Garrett about this?

It isnt the reason we lost. But some guys cant let it go. Newman needs to figure out why we really lost and talk about it with his team, not the press.

We dont hate Newman. We all want to love him. He is a great player (when healthy). We just want him to be a great teammate to all his teammates and a true leader. That starts with fixing the problems in house not in the media.

You know really what ruined this season was not a coward, it was a Dline and LB's that allowed 2 80 yard TD runs in the last 4 minutes of the Baltimore game.

The offense had finally found its rythm at the end of that game and we would have won it if the defense would have held on either one of those plays.

The defense who folded like a tent in the Rams game.

The defense that folded like a tent in the Arizona game after the tip pass completion for a 1st down.

That Baltimore game was the season ender, not the Philly game IMO.

So I have a big problem with Newman if he is calling Witten or Romo the coward.
Plain and simple!

Far too much logic for this thread, I'm afraid.;)

The defense gave up 17 points at Arizona while the offense and special teams lost the game.

The defense gave up one legit TD drive and 7 points while the offense scored 13 and gave 13 back to the Steelers.

The Dallas safeties were exposed at the very end of the Ravens game. The defense gave the offense just about the entire game to do something. The offense had a 4 yard TD drive set up by a Ware sack and forced fumblel. Romo threw the ball 45 times. That isn't how you beat the Ravens. If the Dallas offense didn't wait until the very end of the game to do something, perhaps, the defense wouldn't looked so ragged at the end of the game.

The Cowboys offense was second in the NFL in turnovers.

Offense and special teams killed the Cowboys.

1. There were probably several moles in the locker room.
(They could be players and coaches.)

2. Terence Newman could have been talking about all of them, because a defensive player was quoted in the Werder piece. Romo and Witten don't play defense. His statement was a blanket statement directed at unknown people. Newman isn't a coward. If he is at odds with Witten or Romo, they probably already have spoken to him face to face. Terence Newman wasn't shy about speaking his mind as the ship started to sink in Pittsburgh. So, if he had an issue with either of them, he's going to talk to them face to face. Just use logic if you have dealt with cowards. Terence Newman isn't a coward. I took issue with some trying to paint him as one.

3. If you don't know who the moles are, you can let them know how you feel about them by addressing it in the media. That is one way to get your message out to them. The people who leaked that story acted like cowards. He called them what they were. Pardon Terence Newman for having to think about traders in the locker room everyday, wondering who you could trust. I'm sure it didn't make the work week fun at times. You should be able to go to work and not wonder about who the traders are. Pardon Newman for expressing anger towards the obvious leaks in the locker room. The leakers deserve the heat, not Terence Newman for calling them out, because they hide in the dark shadows or corners of the locker room.

4. If Terence Newman is at odds with Jason Witten, and I don't know that to be fact or fiction, you can blame the Dark Lord of the Sith, Terrell Owens for that if Owens has influenced Newman to "his side".

I'm not in the locker room. I don't know what happened. Only the leaked stuff is known. Only Terence Newman knows what he was thinking about in his brain. He saw fit to say what he said. I don't know who he is suspicious of, but you can bet that he isn't the only one looking over his back in that leak feast of a locker room.

It is just like JFE wrote in her FWST piece. Terence Newman and Jason Witten are not the problems.

Terrell Owens is the problem, and he needs to go before this locker room is beyond repair.

When Newman talked about players not having to like each other off the field and coming in and doing their jobs, that told me you had major, and I mean major turmoil in that locker room.

The Hardline was saying today they've heard from people inside the organization that the lockerroom has a black/white problem. If true, you might as well drop the nuke bomb on the roster and start from scratch, because the TO team cancer "worst case scenario" has officially happened and the dye has been cast.

Just wow.

:banghead: :shoot6: :abuseme:

Wouldn't surprise me one iota, though.
