Remember the original announcement was going to occur either today or Wednesday. Maybe Jerry is getting lip silicon injections today.

Jerry wants to make news near the Superbowl.

If he hires Norv Turner, I hope he doesn't expect to be involved in one of those things anytime soon.

My "inside sources" said that Jerry had to get an emergency face lift.

He was afraid that if he was making the announcement he would be laughing too hard.

So with the new face lift his face will be too tight to laugh and so he would look serious at all the people in the audience who are shocked at the bad decision.

It sounds as though it's a good sign since Turner "allegedly" asked for Singletary to be considered and Jerrah reopened the interviews he had previously said he was done with. If Singletary comes over this is a very good development.

While I'm just as curious as everyone else is on here as to who our new Head Coach will be, I'm equally concerned, or perhaps even more concerned - as to who our new Defensive Coordinator will be. Considering how it was our defense that came up short this year...who our new Defensive Coordinator will be is what I'm more concerned about rather than the new Head Coach.

The soonest we could get him into town was Tuesday.

We'll interview Singletary for both spots, just as we did with Bowles and Garrett.

On Wednesday Jerry will likely make the announcement that we are hiring both Turner and Singletary.

Our staff will most likely be:

HC-Turner

Ast HC Off-Sparano

Ast HC DEF-Bowles

OC QB-Garrett

DC-Singletary
