Don't over think an Ed Terder report. Murray had a personal business decision to make. He probably knew his buddies would confuse him emotionally.

He's another example of an athlete making a dumb financial decision. He would've made more money long term in Dallas than he will in Philly.

I gues he learned his emotionless from Romo on business, as if you remember he asked Romo to cut him some money (restructure) and Romo went quiet!

"You're my boy and all I love you like a brother, but Candice ain't giving up her pie!"

That's very strange that a person would lock out his friends and mentors like that. Not quite sure how I feel about that. Although I didn't want Dallas to resign him, I honestly feel bad for him because no one, and I mean no one, just goes emotionless over people and an organization they were around and with for that many years. I hope that he has "success" in that place, just not against us.

If I have to choose between my friends or future well being of my family and kids, I'd choose my family every time. It's a hard decision to make and I'm sure it was his way of dealing with it.

I wonder if Garrett will allow players to go over and say hi to him during pre-game warmups or if he'll make it as cold as possible.

Are you kidding me. He'll be the first to go over and give him a hug and a hand shake.

We might even see JG do his smile and clap routine if Murray rips a 30 yards against us.

He still loves the players here, and he still wishes he were here. But it's business, and if Dallas wasn't going to pay him, he had to go where they would. Anyone on this board would have done the same thing unless they're already rich. I would've gone to the highest bidder. As a runner, you get destroyed in this league and your shelf life is extremely short, so when you have a golden opportunity to get paid, you get it. The owners make their money, so should the players.

I don't think it's strange. Think DeAndre Jordan.
Murray wanted his money and didn't want Romo or Witten to talk him out of it. He knew his emotions were with the Cowboys; but his wallet was with the best deal he could get.
This was his one shot to make big money. He likely won't be getting a bigger payday, considering the shelf-life of running backs.
So it was loyalty or loot.
He chose loot (more money) and didn't want Romo or Witten pulling on his heart strings convincing him to stay in Dallas.

Well he should not have signed with the Eagles. I doubt that Chip will use him that much. He just doesn't fit their offense. Chip signed him to stick it to use and nothing more. Even though he cost them a pretty penny its one less weapon the Eagles has to deal with.

Frankly I would still have signed with the Cowboys. He would have gone out in a blaze of glory if he did and still be rich. In Philly all he is is rich.

Romo spoke up and said he's willing to do whatever he could with his contract. Your statement of the opposite is not true and irresponsible and an unfortunate aspect of this board.
