DeMarco Murray didn't seem all that enthused about signing with Philly

When listening to his press conference, did anyone else pick up on that?
He seem genuinely hurt that he signed with the Eagles, in contrast to Shady McCoy who couldn't keep a smile off his face talking about his situation with the Bills.
I didn't even find his "Super Bowl" reference all that convincing, even though the starved sheeple called Eagles fans cheered in modest tone.
What is this Super Bowl you speak of?

He loved Dallas and he knows his best shot at a Super Bowl is in Dallas. Just had to say the right things.

Not really Murray has always been low key and mild manner when talking with the press. I think he wanted to remain in Dallas but just as the Cowboys have to think about the business aspect so does Murray.

"No way will I EVER root for this******* cow***** and it's a disgrace this ************** team would replace Shady with this *******!!!!!! **** him & those mother******* cow*******!!!!

Move over Gettysburg Address.

He looked and seemed normal but you know he was torn up on the inside.

Agree. Wait till he gets a real taste of Philadelphia fan and ownership
Loyalty.

Also what we don't know is what his real physical condition is. He seemed slower as the season wore on.

With that in mind he may have decided I want the biggest guarantee I can get as that covers me regardless of how many years I play.

I love reading that board. This board has rules and language filters. Not that one. It really is a philly board. Personal insults, homophobia, racism, pornography, beastiality, anything goes.

No doubt, he wanted to stay in Dallas. This is where he has built a home where he has formed close ties and friendships but it is part of the business. I hate the business aspect of the NFL but it is a reality and I wish him the best in his personal life. I think he has been and still is a class act person

I wish players would stop saying "it's not about the money." It IS about the money; otherwise, Murray would have stayed in Dallas.

Of course - cause Dallas sold him out in favor of paying Dez, who was a loose cannon for many years.

He had two bigger offers.

Nobody plays for free.

And he said it's about getting what you deserve and what's fair combined with having a chance to win.

When someone says it isn't about the money.... Most understand they are saying it isn't solely about the money. And here I belive him.

born and raised in Philly but lifelong Cowboys fan.

This is normal commentary from a " bird fan ". They live for controversy,

Or maybe they chose to keep the better player who will play at an elite level longer and isn't injury prone AND has put up three consecutive elite seasons compared to the one Murray had on a contract year no less. And let's not forget Murray had almost 400 carries as well.
