Is there really a deserved ego to be had on here?
Well I was gonna say the biggest, but I figured people would take this thread off topic.

so was he dissing crayton and williams last spring? Or was he just in the middle of an interview and didnt name everyone?

So was he dissing CRayton and Williams? Was it a story last year that he didnt include crayton and williams in these comments?

He's an OLB who goes against Free in practice.

That's the WR position.

Monster difference.

You guys are really snapping back by taking other interviews about positions where X players aren't named as a diss, when the whole point is that Ware is concerned about the LT position and failed to name who we all thought was the clear cut starter at LT.

This doesn't prove your point. He was being candid. Neither Roy or Crayton stepped up. In fact it was Austin, one of the guys who he mentioned needed to step up.

And that's not concerning?

This is a guy who has faced Free in practice many times.

Again..what a vote of confidence for Free:rolleyes:
There's a huge difference between saying he neglected to give Free a vote of confidence and saying he disrespected him.

You average less than a post per day. And you've been a member since 2006.

I'm only busting your chops anyways. It's cool.

Well- I spent the last 5 1/2 years between Afghanistan and Iraq. That's no excuse, but did not have a lot of time to post on a regular basis.

What the hell would Ware know about WR's?

We are talking about a position he faces everyday in practice.

Did he say to draft a player to replace Flo? Yes.

Did he also say to bring Flo back? Yes.

Did the name Doug Free come up in regards to who would be watching Tony Romo's back next season? No.

Facts bro.

You can't deny the video. You can't say it was out of context. You can't say someone said Doug Free will be playing Right Tackle so what happens at Left Tackle.

Wingo didn't bring up the Left Tackle position.

Ware did. So obviously he sees that spot as a concern. He sees the release of Flo as a major concern. And has so since the day it happened.

And now you want to ask us to agree that the name Doug Free just left his entire vocabulary altogether as all these issues are being discussed?

Come on.

It's Ware talking about the Left Tackle position, not Ware talking about Flo.

Ok.

that is the way I take it. I take it as about flozell, not about doug free.

I firmly believe if you asked him straight out he would say something to the effect of free is a good young player but he has never played the left tackle spot.

If you think he is the type of guy that will go on espn and say something negative about another teammate, that is fine. I do not and having loved the guy from day 1 and absorbed everything he has ever said, I feel like if he wanted to say something about free he would.

I just think, just like what bradie and witten said today, flo was highly liked and respected in the locker room. All the players are used to him always being there and now that he is not it is a question.

In no way do I then take that and turn it into Doug free is not any good because he mentioned the draft.

Just my opinion. Maybe I am a crazy blind homer who doesnt know as much as anyone else though.

WHO CARES ABOUT THE WHOLE DISS/DISRESPECT THING.

For the love of god can a moderator change the topic title. Can we please get back to what's actually concerning about the whole thing. That Ware, in an interview, brings up the LT position on his OWN, did not mention Free AT ALL when talking about Flo's replacement.

I just don't know how Ware of all people could NOT know Free was taking over at LT with the way Jerry and Co have been talking him up and it being covered on literally every sports station who mentions the Cowboys and the LT spot.

Really? I think those two go hand in hand.

It was a diss. Was it intentional? That is the question.

Personally I think Ware is intelligent enough to think of Free at some point while he was saying all that.

peplaw06;3356844 said:

That pretty much sums up my reaction to this thread. Free will man the left corner well. I can't wait til we move beyond the idle speculation stage and get back to ballin.

Surely Ware will know about outside linebackers right? Because in his last interview with CBS 11 he said Victor Butler played some inside LB for us and that proved to his versatility

lost in all this is clearly Flo didn't suck.

And some arguing were firmly entrenched in the "flo sucks" crowd.

the biggest story of last offseason, was roy williams replacing Terrell owens in Dallas as the number 1 wr.

Demarcus ware didnt mention Roy williams in a conversation where he brought up terrell owens, babe laufeberg the interviewer did not.

So did Demarcus Ware not know Roy Williams was on the team? Did he not know the biggest story of the offseason?

Unless you think Owens being replaced by williams wasnt the main talking point in Dallas last year?
or am I just a dumb homer?

First off thank you for your service over there.

Secondly you don't have to explain yourself in any manner. Some people don't like to make tons and tons of posts and others do. Doesn't have a single bearing on a persons fandom. Like Slate said no one is questioning your level of being a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Actually, that's a very good excuse. Glad you made it through, bro.

Sorry, I disagree. To say Ware "dissed" him, implies some sort of intent on his part IMO.

You are not listening to me.

He didn't intentionally diss him.

But omitting him from the conversation is a diss.

Or not a vote of confidence.

Or whatever some people want to call it.

The fact is that I, and a lot of other people, would be a hell of a lot more confident in Free taking over for Flo if the guy who has faced these two players for the last three years in practice used one of their names when speaking about who would replace the other guy.
