What I want to know: if Ware thinks we either need to draft a guy or bring back Flo, what's that say about the tackles potentially available for trade from other teams? I assume we can all agree that by not mentioning any of them entirely that's tacit proof that Ware doesn't think they're viable options.

Ware just dissed Gaither!

Daaaammnnnnn

as regards Gaither was he at LT when we played the Ravens? So ware might never have gone up against him or thought about him. Maybe Ware does not even know that Gaither is supposedly trade bait? So like this whole thing with Free you really do not know; but it is interesting that he did not mention Free.

If you play the audio backwards Ware says Free sucks. It's clear as day.

:laugh2:

I cannot believe the people who are falling for this "dissing" crap.

In the interview on the ESPN release schedule show, not sure if any of you caught it.

They were talking about all the changes in the NFC East and with the Cowboys standing pat. Demarcus brought up losing Flozell and said we have to draft a guy or bring back Flozell because if you can't protect you're QB you're in trouble.

Absolutly no mention of Doug Free. No vote of confidence that he can do the job.

Sorry if you don't think this is a diss, but the fact that Ware says we have to draft or guy or even bring back Flozell speaks volumes.

He could have easily just said that Flo was a big loss but we got guys that can take over.

It could be a subliminal diss, or we could be reading into it. Any side of the argument is speculative!

Wow. I did not think this thread would explode like this. Especially over a non issue like this.

We are kinda of crazy like that...I guess it is something to do prior to the draft.

Why is that good to hear? Must mean its good b/c he will be a Cowboy tomorrow

He's following me too. Funny thing is he has a website...lol.

Got one hour of sleep the past day and half. Exams are killing me right now. So is my fraternity mixed in.

When I logged onto the CZ, I thought "hey, maybe today will be different" and then I saw this thread. Downed my 7th starbucks double shot in disappointment.

...

Keep up the good work gentlemen. :laugh2:

On a related note to the thread (lol), I didn't take Ware's answer at ALL dissing Free. I think it's something you guys are reading/listening way too much into. Nothing to see here, move along. :)

That's all I have to say about that, I've done this song and dance way too many times now, lol.

And I know you mean so that we can find someone to replace Flo since Doug Fail obviously is incompetent and can't do it.

Doug FAil... Nice ring to it. I hope we don't have to use it.

2 more days of hoping for Gaither!

I thought it was sort of odd that when Ware was talking about the next Super Bowl in Dallas, he said (paraphrase) "usually when you win a Super Bowl, you have to go to Tampa or Detroit."

It's just an odd thing to say. First, why would he have used the word "win" instead of "play?" "Play" is the better word choice. Second, and more obvious -- there have been a total of 4 Super Bowls held in Tampa and only 1 in Detroit (Pontiac).

Meanwhile, the Miami area has hosted 10. New Orleans has hosted 9 (with the 10th scheduled for 2013). And the Los Angeles area has hosted 7.

Clearly, the more accurate statement would have been "usually when you play a Super Bowl, you have to go to Miami, New Orleans, or LA."

Could it be that Ware has no respect for NFL history? Was this an unconscious diss of the cities of Miami, New Orleans, and LA?

I think it is more likely that Ware was trying to present himself well on national TV, maybe was a little nervous or distracted, and he just misspoke a bit. In a mild sort of way. Nothing more than that and no need to read any deep psychological meaning into his minor errors and omissions.

WoodysGirl put a stop to it with a quote from Ware a few pages back, yet that goes unread and the same silliness continues. It's quite funny.

I'm ready for the draft. Can't wait...what about you?
