Demarcus Lawerence on leaving Cowboys: I know for sure I'm never going to win a SB there

Not sure how much this means after what he said on camera a couple days ago but it's a nice gesture I guess lol.

Can't even count how many times I saw this cat sucking wind on the sideline on third down after having made zero plays.

I honestly never liked this guy. Didnt get sacks, no show in big games, the hot boyz nonsense, and he was “tired” against the Packers
This. Good riddance to him. What he said, while true, is something you don't say about the team that gave you generational wealth, even when you were "Tired" in the playoffs.

Yep. Have a look at the schedule for next year. They’ll be lucky to win 7 games
Depends totally on a few factors. How well we do in draft. How healthy we stay abd do some of our 2nd and 3rd year plsyer take that next step. But I feel very confident in saying we aren’t going to win our division

Whether hes right or not is irrelevant. Thats not what you say about a team that you played for 11 seasons and gave you generational wealth
Exactly!!!

Look, I happen to agree with Tank, I don’t think the Cowboys will ever win a SB either until Jerry and his idiot boy step aside and hire a real GM and a real HC.

But you don’t say that out loud about your former team. It’s called not burning bridges.

He should have just said he appreciates everything the Cowboys did for him, but he is looking to turn the page for the next chapter in his life for him and his family.

That’s it, all you say and then move on.

It might be a long shot, but nothing would please me more if the Cowboys went to the Super Bowl this time and rub it in D-Laws face...

beating the seahawks on the way to a championship would be awesome....

DLaw is part of the reason he never won a SB with the Cowboys. He and the defense rarely showed up in the playoffs. In 9 playoff games he only had 3 sacks and 5 QB hits.

There's a Michael Irvin video on YouTube that talks about what DLaw said. He pretty much said the side of the ball DLaw was on (defense) was a major reason why they didn't go anywhere, and they were letting teams run all over them!! Tru dat Michael!!

I keep saying the defense has been the number one problem in the playoffs. We get road graded and have no pass rush. It wasn’t just DLaw not showing up. Parsons is another one who hasn’t shown up and he’s going to be looking to break the bank.

On Get Up, Mike Greenberg is joined by Chris Canty, Dan Graziano, Louis Riddick and Bart Scott to discuss the drama in Dallas as DeMarcus Lawrence spoke out against his former team and teammate Micah Parsons.

I loved watching D-Law play and while he’’s most likely correct, he’s not being a very good teammate dogging the guys & team you’ve just spent 9 seasons with and made around a 100 million from! I think that just got him kicked off of the Ring of Honor!

Nothing but respect for DLaw. Always brought his A game. Great run defender. And he ain't wrong.

Dlaw if you had thexsame sack totals before your 100m contract maybe we would have advanced. You are one of the big reasons we didnt you had high $$’s allocated to you and didn't perform up to your contract and would have been gone but jj stepped in. One SACK IN 7 playoff games. Pressures are ok but for 20m a yr which in todays market would be 35 to 40…SACKS HAVE TO COME! They got rid of coop for the same reason. Why do most of our guys take their foot off the pedal after gtg paid? Is that jerrys fault? They arent hungry anymore.

Right or wrong is irrelevant. You just don't air dirty laundry like that. It speaks poorly of ones character and motives.
What is speaks of is how players truly feel...but generally can't say. I think it's admirable most of them can hold their tongue as long as they do.

I'm sure many players feel the same way we do about some things. But of course when you cash the checks you hold your tongue.

Sure would be nice to say and do all the exact right things.

As the generations come up, integrity gets left further and further behind.

That goes w/ any job. It's part of society. In some countries it keeps you from getting your tongue cut off.

This is the first time I have seen this, and yeah, like I've been saying all along, get rid of the damn man child, little Micah! Trade him, get what you can and draft some talent that is not acting a fool all the time!
