Twitter: Demarcus Lawrence impact in Seattle

Can't make me dislike Dlaw. His time as a very good pass rusher was short but he stayed elite on run defense which is why teams decided to run at Micah instead on outside runs instead of at Dlaw. Won't forget how he took a paycut as well.
Maybe just maybe the culture here in his time wore the man down. He seems rejuvenated in Seattle. Wish him well.

It's painfully clear that the Cowboy did not achieve addition by subtraction. Quite the contrary.

Still trying to push this washed king of "little things"? I love how these morons in the media claim the less you mention the guy, the better he must be. No, not in his position. If you don't talk about him, he's having zero impact. But, he'll always have Hot Boyz.

I liked Dlaw, no need to knock him now that he is gone, but he is over 30 and was coming off a big injury.
This is one of the very, very few times I won't knock the Jones boys for letting him walk. You can't
keep everybody.

Yea the problem is they didn’t keep anybody.

Personally I don’t care who they trade or let go as long as you have some plan to replace them.

You hit the nail on the head with Tank.

The Tank they are seeing was not the guy who was here the last year or two.
Well, he only played 4 games last year. And except for the FRTDs, which is an opportunity stat more than anything else, I'm not seeing a huge difference in his stats this year. Without knowing the difference schematically, I wouldn't be able to draw any conclusions. I think he was simply underappreciated in Dallas.

He played 12 of a possible 34 games his last two seasons in Dallas. He, and his contract demands, we expendable.
He played all 17 games in 2022 and 2023. He was injured last year, but no, he didn't play 12 of 34 games the last 2 seasons. He's played 8 games this year in Seattle and 4 last year in Dallas. Maybe you were simply confused?

But it wasn't trash when talking about offensive output or wins being "padded"against the rest of the east. Remember that .... or you'll get jumped.
But but... If the offense didn't put so many points on the board the defense wouldn't have the opportunities. (How'd I do?)

Often underrated and criticized here because he didn't have big sack numbers.

Which is kind of funny, because the Parsons had the big sack numbers and people criticized him as well.
Gotta have scapegoats to distract from the real on the field issues.

It seems like players like Lawrence only play here while they are on max contracts. Does anyone think he would have stayed here with his current contract averaging 10/yr?
The way he got treated during his first contract negotiations I would have been the same way. And nobody knows what he would have signed here for.

Really, Id say that TANK wasn't the same after he got his first big deal. Sound familiar? You can say that now about Diggs, Bland, Osa, Smith. Thats one hell of a pattern Jerry has going there.
Diggs has been injured. Kinda hard to be the same player when you aren't healthy.

He got lucky one game in the right spot to recover fumbles he didn’t cause the fumbles
