DeMarcus Lawrence looking "weight room big"

I have had a healthy skepticism about this guy. Especially since Dallas paid so much for him.

But I also have allowed my emotions to buy into this team and this beginning. So I know have hopes he hits the ground running and becomes the edge rusher this team sorely needs.

Seattle will probably bring me back to earth.

I haven't seen the buy in you speak of, but it's good to see a supposed fan happy about a 4-1 start.

He still has time to be our leading pass rusher as far as sacks.

That actually hurt to say. Loved this pick, and think he's going to add a great element to this Defense. Get me a bookend like Arik Armstead in 2015 and I will love our pass rush I think.

With Unger likely sitting or limited, it's definitely possible up the middle. Which is good since Lynch isn't a stretch runner.

As I recall, Seattle's offensive line isn't any great shakes to start with. One list of preseason rankings had them ranked dead last in the league.

That is not necessarily a good thing.. Lifting a bunch of heavy weight does not always translate to being a good football player.

What does big in the torso mean? That doesn't sound good.

Did you read? Weight room big. That's a good thing. A strong core will alleviate stress on lower extremities.

Actually I'm in agreement with him. Big in the torso is hardly ever a compliment so that sounded to me like he has to get his conditioning back up.

I like players from Boise St. and for some reason their program seems to be underrated but have put out some pretty decent talent in the NFL. Heck, our best two players on corner and on the Dline are from Boise St. Thus I think were gonna be just fine with Lawrence.

For this season he just needs to be better than Jack Crawford.
