No one is really talking about him, but he's playing light's out so far this season. He was one of the forum's whipping boys the last few years. Good to see him playing at a high level.

I wanted to see more from him in the pass rush after the first couple of games. He's shut me up since then. This is exactly what we were hoping for with Micah providing so much pressure. Lawrence went for years being the guy who got chipped or doubled or tripled because we didn't really have another rushing threat. Now, he's the No. 2 rushing threat and he's thriving on that. He has been another case where fans just look at stats to draw their conclusions about a player.

Tank has always been elite against the run and pretty good, but inconsistent against the pass. A lot of the criticism was misguided IMO. Some only understand flashy stats like sacks and interceptions. I'm not a huge PFF guy but Tank always graded out well for a reason

Said this in another thread, took a pay cut to play with this group and is showing what he can do when other threats are with him. Playing awsome.

He is not playing lights out. He is what he always was in his better times: He has a good play or two then disapears for 2 quaters or the rest of the game.

In the last years he wasnt even able to make those two good plays.

He was always servicable against the run. The critique was that he sucks as a passrusher but gets paid like an elite one.
Now that he has enough talent around him he looks much better. As does every average player.

Lights out? Lets not get carried away. He is a career underachiever and self promoter who is getting hard carried by Super Parsons. He does not move the needle for this team. Never has, never will.

Exactly.

I reserved the right to tip my hat to you one week and throw you under the bus the next. It's the latitude I have as a fan. He's played well, but he's one bad game or injury away from getting a bird's eye view of the buses undercarriage

26 million against the cap next year. I don't see how we keep him with Dak's 49 million cap hit too. We'll have to re-sign one of those guys just to bring down their cap.

He is absolutely playing lights out, which is a continuation from last season. I was ready to cut him while he was injured and the defense was thriving, and he came back and contributed immediately. it's definitely a byproduct of micahs attention, but he's doing his part extremely well

Parsons lit a fire under Lawrence. I think lawrence finally took his offseason seriously and get into proper shape. Its a shame he didnt do that sooner.

So you're saying Emmitt sucked then? Interesting.

If you look at it statistically, some here would probably say that. I mean, he only averaged 4.16 yards per carry in his career. He had six seasons where he averaged under 4 yards per carry and two others where he averaged right at 4. I mean, Elliott averaged 4.2 last year and there are multiple fans on here who think he sucked. In fact, Elliott has never averaged less than 4 yards per carry for a season (although he's at 3.8 for this season right now) and is averaging 4.4 for his career, and fans think he sucks.
