DeMarcus Lawrence: We have to play against opponents + refs

Someone tell me how you are supposed to overcome something like this? Just blow them out so you're never in a close game late?

THIS is the problem. Dallas gets called for ticky-tack nonsense and then calls like this (there was another one against Clark too in the redzone) don't ever get called.

There is no overcoming this.

It does seem to be the case a lot. I just wonder what can be done about it.
Wouldn't you like to see the head of the officials in the game have to meet at the press conference and answer all kinds of questions about the officiating like the quarterback and the coach have to.

Wouldn't it be a hoot to just see them grilled about every missed call and have it replayed there and have them have to go over it and justify all the bad calls and no calls I think that would be great would go a long way in making them get their act together.

the crazy gap in holding calls against teams we play is glarring right now, like i said Buff ran the ball 49 times and got 1 holding call..the odds are atsronomical..

He's right, and I hope the players are all this candid. Coaches and Jerry too.

Maybe, just maybe, if we shine a bright enough light on the POS refs jobbing us on a regular basis, we'll only get screwed like 5 times per game instead of 10.

These guys cry too much to be champions.
The Cowboys get as many calls as they lose. It's all about excuses.

Why is it that nobody can say anything at all about the officiating without getting fined whatever happened to freedom of speech in this country

Sounding just like Mahomes and KC fans sound now. As for them, this is what happens when you all of a sudden find yourself as a not-good-enough team while trying to cling to the entitled glory years of the past. Powerhouse teams just get it done. Not-good-enough teams whine about "dark forces" tryin' to keep them down.
Mahomes was 100% wrong because his player was committing an infraction it was obvious.
Like if you look at Micah's Twitter page you can see the players committing an infraction the difference is it wasn't called it isn't called it's never called and it neuters arguably the most impactful player on our team and changes the whole outcome of games whether you want to believe it or not it does

Holding calls usually don't come from running plays.
In today's NFL the refs are accustomed to passing, and that's where it shows up.

They really should be made to answer questions like the players and coaches. Accountability cuts in all directions.

Every team’s Super Bowl is against Dallas. The Cowboys get a team’s best shot every week.

Cowboys are clearly getting screwed by officials.

Wah wah wah! It’s happening to all star players. Play through it and stop making excuses

lol. Explain how Dallas gets called for holding whenever Dak runs. Even on designed QB runs they get called for holding.

Help me out here, hemano, so I don't have to look through all these pages to get my answer. Did you get about 10+ comments from so-called Cowboys fans telling you, Dlaw and Parsons to stop "crying" about the refs?

What's it been now, like 6 games since the most disruptive pass rusher in the league has gotten a flag to go his way? Last game they threw Tyler Smith a flag for holding when we see Parsons getting held like that several times a game. And I'm being conservative when I say "Several."

Um, no, they literally dont.

McCarthy magically forgot how to prevent penalties the SECOND he became the Cowboys coach. Amazing coincidence!!!

Amen brother the officials have no accountability they're protected like little children.

I would love to see them grilled up and down about bad calls and no calls with video to backup the questions.

It would create a better product on the field if they had to justify their calls after the game at a press conference like everybody else has to justify every little thing they did.

They're protected and handled with kid gloves and as a result they're ruining the best game on the planet

so be better

this team is soft

if the ref is not calling it fair then over come it, people over come harder stuff every single day of their life and dont cry about it they just do it because they are not soft spoiled baby like the dallas cowboys

bunch of soft cry baby is what this team is and that is why they lose every year in the playoffs

if every thing doesnt go their way they cry and pout like a baby insted of toughing up and over coming a dis advantige

loser team with loser leader ship player and coaches and a loser owner + gm

Yup, they and the commissioner needs to answer questions every year.

I'll be honest. There's a hold but it's not jumping out of the air obvious. I don't think Clark tried to show he was being held and the guard did a good job of moving forward towards the play to make it less obvious as well. Had he tried to hold while moving N-S it would of been a dead give away imo
