That's all you can do, but we should acknowledge the effects of it. Contending teams are hard enough to beat without having calls go their way. When they do, expecting our team to just be able to overcome it and win anyway is wishful thinking. Few teams are good enough to do that. Now, to be fair, there are really only two games this applies to this season, the first Philly game and the Dolphins game. We weren't close enough in the 49ers, Cardinals and Bills games for the bad calls to really matter. A couple of different calls might have change how much we lost by in those games, but not likely the outcome.

We say he isn’t an edge rusher and is good against the run. We say can’t go by his stats. Players like Lawrence, from over substance, is why this team hasn’t done a damn thing in 30 years. You play DE in the NFL to make splash plays. He doesn’t.
