Took a pay cut to stay with Denver. That irritates me some because he didn't do that to stay here. I was rooting for him until now p.o.s....

The article said paycut. Then it said restructure later sobit looks like 2 million for this year BUT with incentives he could make the full pay ofbtje original deal I guess

I don't blame him. Why leave the team that won him a championship to get a low-ball offer from the team that drafted him and didn't give him any help his whole career? The chemistry in Denver is probably much better too. He'd rather win than be a carny in Jerry's sideshow.

He dropped from 10m to 6.5m with a chance to earn the entire 3.5m back with 8-13 sacks.

He didn't take a pay cut with us because he still had suitors. After missing 5 games this year he knows the end is near and he said he didn't want to uproot for the second time over a little bit of money.

Good for Ware. He's a class act and I'm glad he got his ring. I was kind of hoping he would leave so they can see how that pass rush is without him. But overall good for him.

Smart move. There is no better fit for him in the league than Denver. He can finish out his career there and rack up the sacks to move up the All-Time List. He definitely wasn't gonna do that in Dallas

Restructure; not a cut.

And he did this because he knows at his age nobody is going to give him an opportunity to earn that amount on a new deal.

Some of you guys are just crazy
The Broncos DL had 4 starters better than ANY player on our DL
Ware looked great because of that
In Dallas he would have been the focus of attention
He made the right decision for himself

It was a pay cut. He was set to make 10m, now he will make 6.5m.

He can make it all back IF he gets 8-13 sacks.
He only had 7.5 sacks last year so they are considered NLTBE incentives and won't count against the cap this year.

So it's not a pay cut if he hits all incentives. It's a restructure.
