Man, that is a major bummer. He was pushing for PT this season. Tough break. Since LVE is on a one year deal again, he should be ready to maybe even start next season alongside Clarke. Will give him a chance to bulk up in the weight room, add a few more pounds, and watch some tape. Think of it being red shirted and coming back better than ever.

Mostly horrible news for him of course, but also for the Cowboys and for us fans! We were counting heavily on Overshown's strong, talented influence on our defense this year and now in an instant it's all out the window, and history till next year.
It's not the end of the season, but just speaking for myself it's a huge disappointment. I was so looking forward to watching this young man bolster our LB crew.

Yeah I think his career will be short. Everyone says next year but this was a concern as I recall when he was drafted so it’s possible he will never see the field as an nfl starter

Wow I'm so bummed for this kid. I think he would've contributed a great deal this year. But he will get a year to learn, without the wear and tear.
