However, needless or useless is a matter of opinion. One that I doubt very many people here in the US would agree with.

because people in the world have been programmed to see terrorists and threats everywhere, that we are not safe etc, when in reality we are far safer than we were in the past as crime is down.

there is no need for those TSA types to make everyone feel like a criminal for wanting to go on a plane but they get off doing it and we know we cannot stand up to them because they will pull us aside, strip search us and deliberately make us miss a plane to teach us a lesson.

Crime and Terrorism are two different things. You can't compare the two. The argument can be made that crime is down because of these measures.

The TSA is a small part of this whole. I do not think they are the biggest issue here.

So they search his bung hole with fingers, an enema, a colonoscopy and laxatives? If that's the case, it's scary and New Mexico isn't far off from North Korea.

Bear with me:

If it was a deal like I said, He may have at some point even stated to them that he had them, then even as much as evidence is important, the doctors would take over as a health concern. They can and have done it before. I've seen what broken latex full of drugs can do to a person.

On the other hand....it could have been a guy named Rainbowy... who drives a Mazda Miata and only said it for the joy of the experience. Colonoscopies and enemas........some of those guys save up to pay for that stuff.
