No. My point is that Denver is getting burned on these boards because we haven't beaten a "quality" opponent but are 3-0. Dallas on the other hand, is 2-1 with wins over teams that are 0-6. I am not seeing where Dallas runs away with this game. Especially since it isn't even at the Death Star...

Why does this surprise you?

You're on a Cowboy's message board. Naturally, we see our team as the best out there. It's just the way it is with most fans. We're going to overlook the faults of our team, while over exaggerating our opponents' weaknesses.

I've seen a ton of messageboards from all sorts of different fans. They're all the same.

I don't usually go to an opposing teams' board and act shocked when they don't see how great my team is.....or why my team will crush theirs.

I don't understand why this bothers you here.

They have great young back in Knowshon Moreno and he's starting to breakout. Our RunD could have a hard time with their zone blocking schemes similar to what Tampa was doing to us in the first half. Hopefully we'll shut it down.

as far as i remember they got rid of the zone blocking scheme when Daniels took over...could be wrong tho

Speaking of Eddie Royal...what's up with that chump? He hasn't done squat for me in fantasy this year. What does he have.....like 4 catches this year?

Simple Cutler>Orton. and that excuse of double teams mean squat because Jerry Rice, Owens, Moss are frequently double teamed. Hell Witten is often double teamed and still gets open and hes about as fast as most fullbacks

Or if you have a weak QB...:-D

A weak QB would be one with a career QB rating under 80. I will let you figure out who that is (a little hint, it's not Romo).

I never said anything about Denver being great. I was referring more to how some fans here seem to think we stink at 3-0 while Dallas is good at 2-1 and such but you are right, what should I expect at a Dallas message board. The same thing, different board:) Best of luck Sunday! Looking forward to a good game.:D

That's fine and dandy buy only one of the two qb's ratings seems to get better each and every year while the others seems to go down every year. I will let you figure out who is who(a little hint, Orton's has not gone down;)

The Dallas Cowboys could not be playing a better opponent this week than the Denver Broncos.

The validity of the Cowboys' two wins is being questioned, and as much as we may hate admitting it, some of the questioning is warranted. Both victories were deeply flawed, and came against teams that are a combined 0-6.

However, with a win against the Broncos, the Cowboys will have beaten an undefeated, division-leading opponent on the road. A victory should provide them with some measure of respect and, more importantly, some confidence in the weeks ahead.

I like this match up because the Broncos' record is inflated, in my opinion. Their talent level is probably worse than their record indicates and inferior to the Cowboys' talent. The Broncos have a very good receiving corp, but their running backs are merely average and their quarterback is a journeyman. Given how the Cowboys offensive line has gashed every defense its played thus far, it's a reasonable assumption it will have similar success against the Broncos defense.

Additionally, the Cowboys (especially Romo) should not be as tight in this game as they've been over the past two weeks; this is a road game against a non-conference opponent, and Romo tends to play better on the road.

If the Cowboys are as good as many people seem to think, they should win this game. In fact, if the team plays as well as it did Monday night and can eliminate the drive-killing penalties, the Cowboys should put this game away at some point in the fourth quarter.
Not really. No, the Cowboys won't get any respect until they win in December. And let's keep in mind, the Broncos are 3 and 0 against suspect teams. Bengals. Browns. Raiders. Granted, the Bengals did win against the Steelers, but on the other hand, since Steeler philosophy leans alot on their defense, all it takes is a few touchdown to change the outcome of a game.

I know you aren't saying Orton is a better QB than Romo. If you are you have zero creditability. There isn't a person on the planet except a Broncos fan that is completely blind from homerism and Orton's family that would ever make such an asinine claim.

I never said Orton was a better QB than Romo... But by no means is he a "weak" qb as was stated. I am simply stating facts to show he isn't weak. Romo is a stronger qb, no question.

The thing about the Denver wins are against teams who are just horrible. Cleveland and Oakland are two of the worst offenses in recent memory. They sit dead last at 31,32 in passing offense. At a respective 440 yards and 359 yards total for the season. Their rushing offenses aren't any better at all. Oakland ranks @ 20 with 310 yards rushing and Cleveland ranks in at 29th overall with 214 total rushing yards. Cincy is 14th in rushing with 337 yards total and 22nd overall in passing with 562 total yards.

Dallas has two teams that are 0-3 on our schedule and their stats look like this. Carolina is 21st in passing with 577 total yards passing, and Tampa is 17th with 630 yards total passing. Carolina is 21st in rushing with 303 total yards rushing, and Tampa is 25th at 259 total yards rushing.

We do have two 0-6 teams, but I'm willing to bet that Carolina wouldn't be 0-3 with Denver's schedule. I don't think we are going to go into Denver and roll them. It's the NFL and Denver has confidence which plays a factor. I think Dallas will be able to run the ball (around 150 yards) and won't have much problem throwing the ball either (250-275 yards). If we eliminate pre-snap penalties and don't turn over the ball Dallas will win. I'd say 27-13 or somewhere around there.

Orton:

2005: 59.7
2007: 73.9
2009: 79.6

33 TD's, 27 INT's

Romo:

2006: 95.1
2007: 97.4
2008: 91.4

85 TD's, 49 INT's

Which would you rather have?

Says he is weak. 33 TD's to 27 INT's is weak.

Those are facts.

Are you really crying over what fans of an opposing team are saying about your beloved donks...in their own forum? Grow up! Just so you know there's a big bad world out there. You may want to stay on a donkey's messageboard where everyone is living in the land of denial. I'm sure it's much safer there with the lollipops and roses.

If you read through my posts on this topic, I may have shed a couple tears over what is being said but by no means am crying:) I think it will be a great game and came here to see what Dallas fans thought.

It was funny because there are threads talking about "Denver fans talking smack on their boards" and such and the exact same is being done here by Dallas fans. That is the way it should be.

I haven't said Orton is better than Romo or Denver is going to roll Dallas but kept getting responses like I have been. I think it is going to be a great game! Whatever team establishes the run first will win this game. I guess that can be said about any game though:) Here's to a good game Cowboys and sorry if I came across as arrogant or a cry-baby as that was certainly not my intention.

I don't think it will happen, but I'm expecting a flame-fest-and-a-half if we lose to the Denver Donkey's.

And, if we win? See you in 3 years, crash123go and BroncosFan15.
