Denver reached out about Sanchez trade

If the FO wants Sanchez (not saying they do or should), they would likely have to trade for him (a conditional 7th). He will not sign here as a free agent knowing that he will just get cut in Week 7 when Tony returns. He'd rather wait and sign with a team that suffers an injury or does not have an unquestioned starter (SF?) or good backup (NYG?).

Cowboys don't want his salary, thus no trade.

OK, so people have made funny comments, but is there any way that it would make sense?

He has a one year contract for 4.5 million. There is no way in hell that we are trading for that contract. If Sanchez would agree to a new contract, basically the vet minimum for two years, then that is the only way that you would even think about it and then only for the conditional 7th that Denver would have to pay the Iggles.

For Sanchez, why would you even think about accepting that? You would want a chance at being a free agent somewhere. He is still only 29 years old and I am sure he thinks he can do better than vet minimum.

I don't know about that.

He made good money back under the old CBA.

He is not in a position to demand anything.

The Broncos have to get him to agree to a restructure and trade.

And I doubt it is that hard, especially if that deal is better than what he believes he can get as an open market free agent.

The only reason to trade for him is to insure that you get him. If I am Dallas, I am not paying much more than the vet minimum to get him. I can get other guys for a million or less per year or even roll with Showers.

For Sanchez, I am sure he thinks he has more value if he sits and waits for someone else to lose their starter. He is not coming here in any circumstance as the starter.

Sanchez for our ugliest cheerleader ...... all Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders are drop-dead gorgeous, so that won't work. .... Okay, a bag of AT&T Stadium popcorn and a tour of the stadium for Sanchez.
That popcorn aint cheap lol

Honestly, I don't think he's worth even the league minimum for this team. I'd rather go with Showers as the backup and I'm not sold on him....but he'd be a more interesting choice than Sanchez. How many teams has he been on now? There is a reason for that.

What? You don't want to see a butt fumble in AT&T Stadium?
