Depth Chart, where things stand at OT

Im
Not trying to make a hot take, but moving Guyton back to the right side (his college position) and letting Asim play LT might be better than Guyton at LT and Steele at RT

Guyton has arm/hand size, agility, size in height and girth, and foot quickness. He'll learn anticipation and adjustments. He is a strong player that will grow.

Wherever Adams has coached, offensive lines have improved—often dramatically.

  • Arizona Cardinals (2023-2024): As the offensive line coach, Adams helped a depleted Cardinals line finish top-12 in rushing efficiency, despite multiple injuries and a rotating cast of starters.
  • Indianapolis Colts (2022): Working as an assistant offensive line coach, Adams contributed to a unit that ranked in the top 10 in run-block win rate and helped Jonathan Taylor to a Pro Bowl season.
  • Colorado & Arizona State (2018-2021): Adams coached offensive lines that produced multiple All-Pac 12 selections and helped their teams rank in the top 3 in rushing offense within the conference.
  • Boise State (2017): His unit allowed the fewest sacks in the Mountain West Conference and anchored a top-25 rushing offense.

At every stop, Adams emphasized technique, aggression, and player empowerment—qualities that suit Tyler Guyton’s raw athletic profile.

Over the next few weeks, the DC writers will discuss depth chart for the position groups.

Yes, players have been discussed many times already. But this will be from the writers with possiblysome different takes, and catches thoughts. As the team added over 30 players to the roster this off-season.

BS said the best 5 will start, as all coaches say that anyway.
First up, the OT's
I'm way more confident that the offensive line will gel quicker than the defensive line.

The FO has had much better sucess with offensive lines through the draft so I dont have a reason to think or say otherwise......its been the one area that I haven't wanted them to address through a high level of free agency.

imo if Guyton doesn't improve we are screwed, our only 2 options is Asim Richard's who is also untested or the nuclear option of moving Tyler Smith to LT.
