I can't link but I did a PFF mock a couple days ago...........I have heard NFL Scouts are all over the place with Harmon, some see him high, some see him more as a 3rd rd prospect. I have Grant, slightly ahead of Harmon, but both in my option should be top 20 picks. Harmon has the higher pass rush potential, but I feel Grant is going to be an elite run defender which this team has needed for years.
some mocks get stranger and strangerI can't link but I did a PFF mock a couple days ago...........
**traded from 12 to Broncos 20........rec'd 1st 20th, 2nd 52, 2026 3rd and 4th
Draft
1st (20) Walter Nolen.....DT
2nd(44) Kabel Johnson....RB
3rd( 52) Derrick Harmon...DT
Surprised Harmon was there at 52........
I definitely dont see Harmon as a day 2 guy. I think he is going to be one of those guys that rises as media scouts start getting info from pro'sI have heard NFL Scouts are all over the place with Harmon, some see him high, some see him more as a 3rd rd prospect. It's good value. However, I think if we take Nolen in the first round, we need more of a NT type for our second DT pick. Of course, I don't think Harmon lasts until 52. I wonder about Nolen's teammate JJ Pegues. He's only a few pounds lighter than Harmon but he's about three inches shorter, which helps with maintaining leverage. Not saying I'd take him instead of Harmon, just that he's more likely to be available then than Harmon. Of course, he may go lower than the third round.I can't link but I did a PFF mock a couple days ago...........

I will always take strength like I will always take speed. Can't teach/coach it. Hate finesse OLine/Dline/LBers. Give me the strength up front always. This guy talks too much
honestly I have some questions about Harmon. I know it was against Ohio State but I saw him using strength to get a lot of things done; not technique. That is not going to work so well in the pros.
the point is that he is going to meet a lot of players just as strong. if he does not have technique, he will fail.I will always take strength like I will always take speed. Can't teach/coach it. Hate finesse OLine/Dline/LBers. Give me the strength up front always.
What I’m seeing (isn’t much) has him rated as a 6th!It's good value. However, I think if we take Nolen in the first round, we need more of a NT type for our second DT pick. 50+ pressures to lead DTs in CFB for DTs and one of the few with a run and pass rusher grade over 80.Two DTs I liked the past two drafts have been very productive on their respective teams: Bryan Bresee (Saints) and Braden Fiske (Rams). Bresee has racked up 12.5 sacks in his two seasons for New Orleans and Fiske had 8.5 sacks as a rookie in LA. The commonality with both of these guys is that they both demonstrated ability to beat blocks on the inside and get pressure on the QB.
Harmon shows those same traits.
Might be, and some list him more as a 3-tech type anyway. I just want some bulk if we go with Nolen (305) or Harmon (310). Need guys we can rotate that aren't washed up or JAGs. I'd probably even take three in the draft, like Parcells did when we drafted Spears in the first, Canty in the fourth and Ratliff in the seventh. Stock that line! What I’m seeing (isn’t much) has him rated as a 6th!
