I am all in on this move, but still worry that he would also struggle behind this OL.
The OL has been hampered by injuries all year. They may be injury prone the rest of the way too— BUT, having a guy like Henry punishing defenses is an OL dream.

There are some nasty run blockers up front, and I think adding a guy like Henry establishes a much needed physical identity for the offense.

We would become a tough, physically imposing running team who would wear teams down, and have a quick, fluid, passing game that can hurt you when you bring the safety down to stop the run.

I may be in the minority but I don't see this as a good move for Dallas. Don't get me wrong. I think Henry is a good player, but I am not sure how he fixes the Cowboys problems. If they can't run block for him he isn't going to change anything. And I wonder what they will have to give up to get him.

This looks like a typical Jerry trade. He gets a splash name player to appease the mobs whether it solves the problem or not.

Sounds to me like the asking price may be higher than anticipated so the cowboys are asking them to eat some of the money to justify them giving up a higher pick. Similar to the cooks rumors this time last year.

I don't disagree about what Henry brings, but this OL has been terrible. Believe they are 3rd worst in the league in the average per run. This scheme fits Henry far better then it does Pollard, I would like to see if Henry could be the answer.

I agree about the OL, but also believe Henry is a better fit for the inside zone scheme. This would also help Pollard as he can return to that change of pace role which he excelled at last season.

And you nust have missed the psrt where their QB took a big chunk of the season off because he didnt want to risk injury before getting paid.
That sounds like such a great franchise where players take from games because they want to get paid. Yeah no thanks.

That makes sense. It also matter how the Cowboys view him-rental for this year or a player they like to extend. If they are looking for salary reduction, it suggests they view him more as a rental type player. How much due you give up? Remember, Cooks/Gilmore were late day 3 picks.

The sleeper team expected to be in the market for Henry are the Dallas Cowboys. The belief from many is Henry could end up in the NFC East with the Cowboys if Tennessee is willing to eat some of the money remaining on Henry’s contract, estimated to be around $6.2 million.

The Cowboys have Tony Pollard at the top of the depth chart- a player they franchised after releasing Ezekiel Elliott in March. Henry’s power running style is viewed as the perfect compliment to Pollard’s big play ability as a ball carrier and pass catcher.

Pauline is proven to be one of the best insiders who has been on the money in the past.
Pollard still has big play ability?

Honestly I could care less about Henry. Dak is a better QB when you open the offense up for him. When you expect him to compliment the run game and throw this dink and dunk crap we won't succeed. He is a bad QB at that.
Dak was at his best, when the run game was elite in Zeke's rookie season.

And that’s what people are missing. I don’t think he’d come here and be like Dalvin Cook and share Carrie’s.
They would have to return Pollard to his change of back role. Would the Cowboys be alright having a 10 million back sitting on the bench?
