You 100 percent would.I think in a reserve role, you would see an more explosive Pollard.

That’s what I say. We haven’t done that great on the seconds as it is so it would be like I’d miss it very much.Send them a second and be done with it.
Remember when Philly traded for Ajayi? How did that work out for them that season?Henry came into the league the same year Zeke did
Are you sure he won't be washed up very soon?
Problem is Jerry loves him some second round players with character issues. So he may not do it because then he loses his favourite toy. That’s what I say. We haven’t done that great on the seconds as it is so it would be like I’d miss it very much.
Not really arguing for or against it, but it is a real questionRemember when Philly traded for Ajayi? How did that work out for them that season?
That is wishful thinking. The NFL is anything but granting wishes. You want Henry you better offer that 2nd round pick. They also might trade him to the team of his choosing as goodwill to him for his career with the franchise.
It is. But what I was saying is. Ajayi was garbage after that one season. They won the SB. Do you think the FO cares about how bad he was AFTER winning the SB?Not really arguing for or against it, but it is a real question
No team is going to give up a 2nd rd pick for him. Remember we got both Gilmore/Cooks for late day 3 picks. That is wishful thinking. The NFL is anything but granting wishes. You want Henry you better offer that 2nd round pick.
He didn’t play much early in his career.Henry came into the league the same year Zeke did
Are you sure he won't be washed up very soon?
I dont doubt that for a second but i also think mccarthy could do a litle better schematically.I think in a reserve role, you would see an more explosive Pollard.
You mean not run Pollard up the gut into a stacked box 70 percent of the time?I dont doubt that for a second but i also think mccarthy could do a litle better schematically.
Ravens are hands down a better organization whose only interest is winning. Or he can come to the glitz and glamour of a team where winning is not a priority. You skipped over the part about the Ravens being the favorites to land Henry. Another organization where winning actually matters. Apparently they arent as worried about the money part.
yep its exactly what i mean. Im not big on running behind Tyler B anyhow but it didnt work pounding zeke into the line its cetainly going to be an issue with pollard who is 15 lbs lighter. Im also not sure how frequent they are stacking the box but outside runs seem to be a better optionsYou mean not run Pollard up the gut into a stacked box 70 percent of the time?
The one time they ran Pollard outside the tackles against the Chargers it was a 13 yard gain nulified by a penalty. You see my point though.yep its exactly what i mean. Henry completely changes this run game. And RED ZONE OFFENSE. Henry and Luepke in the backfield on an RPO. Who do you cover?IMO- Whether it’s Derrick Henry or some other RB, the Cowboys badly need to infuse some life into this running game/offense or we are headed to a 9-8/10-7 type season. Another “relevant” season for the Jones boys.
I do see it i think most folks not named Mike Mccarthy sees it. I think he also had a succesful run against the niners but fumbledThe one time they ran Pollard outside the tackles against the Chargers it was a 13 yard gain nulified by a penalty. You see my point though.
Tyron, Tyler, Biadasz, Zack, AND Steele have all been hurt and/or recovering from injury.I don't disagree about what Henry brings, but this OL has been terrible. Believe they are 3rd worst in the league in the average per run. This scheme fits Henry far better then it does Pollard, I would like to see if Henry could be the answer.
i think thats a common stance among hopeful fans and it does play a role. i myself think its steele is coming off an injury as well and they rushed him back .They paid him now they are stuck. Tyler B is another one they have more faith in than i do. Tyron is a shell of what he once was and Zack is still good but he also is going to start the slow regression. Tyler smith is the best of the starters at this pointTyron, Tyler, Biadasz, Zack, AND Steele have all been hurt and/or recovering from injury.
No time together in TC. Limited snaps together this season. I am hoping we will see a marked improvement starting Sunday
