Why do you guys keep saying this?

2013 - 75 carries
2014 - 172 carries
2015 - 339 carries

Ezekiel Elliot

2013 - 30 carries
2014 - 273 carries
2015 - 262 carries

Where is this "ton of mileage"? He's been underused until this season. 339 carries is high, but it's not like he's been ran into the ground for 3 straight seasons.

I agree. In fact, I think Bama loss to Ohio State because they got cute with the passing game and didn't run with Henry. Nick Saban purposely limited Henry's carries in 2014.

He's used to sharing a work load, the reason for all those careers was cause Drake went down with the injury.

That sounds like argument against keeping Murray because he had ONE season of an inordinate amount of carries.
You're missing his 1,387 carries in high school. Ezekiel Elliot had 114.

Most of those were just wind sprints against air. He delivered a lot more punishment than he received.

Look, he may end up being a decent back, I just prefer short stacks vs behemoths. I look at tall RB's like short QB's. The odds are against them. If we draft him, i'd happily eat crow for his success.

I hear you but I just can't live in a world where we start counting a RB's High School carries and using it as a knock against him.

Soon 21 will be old for a RB. Walter Payton and Emmitt Smith are laughing their butts off.

That's a lot of carries, even for a kid.

Henry's not taken a lot of big hits. It seems like nobody ever gets a good lick on him. And this is the only year he's had a lot of carries in college. Like somebody else said, he had a lot of carries in high school but that was basically sprints against 4A Florida hs competition.

That stiff arm at the end of the game was SICK!
