I have zero interest in what numbers Commanders players wear.

Forget the gang stuff. Jackson wore out his welcome in Philly by missing meetings, having bad practice habits, being petulant with the coaches and sulking during games -- while today a thread comes out about Dez putting his past behind him.

A tale of two players on the very same day; one who overcome tremendous obstacles and tries to take advantage of his talents in life, the other who complains about a jersey number and takes his talents and life for granted.

There was nothing manufactured about what he said. He created this drama. No doubt there will be plenty more for you to defend in the future as well.

Possibly, in the future, there will be. But this isn't it. If you want to make a big deal about that, I don't know what to tell you, other than you're terrified this might actually work out.

He was being an arse.

"Jackson semi-jokingl"

"maybe he could get Griffin to change his number"

"there hasn’t been a decision that’s been made yet so far"

"Fans everywhere please calm down. Not changing my # @DeseanJackson10 will kick off his new beginning with us in a new one"

If there was nothing to see here, you wouldn't need someone(s) to tell you so.

Not concerned about Jackson.

Not that this is a huge deal, anyway, but that article hardly makes the drama seem manufactured. Pretty obviously, there was some internal discussion regarding something as silly as who wears what number.

Like the Jackson signing for you guys though. Or, more correctly as a Cowboys fan, I hate it.

Yep.
It was plain as day.

It will be interesting when they put DeSean in the slot next to Reed. That will be a tough matchup for any defense.

It actually made it clear that this was a bigger deal than I originally suspected. I'd thought at first this was Jackson popping off without thinking, but these were behind the scenes discussions. Amusing.

It's the kind of thing that doesn't matter at all if he performs-which he probably will. But if there are issues...this guy is a pita.

IMO the fact he made it public is the issue. He just joined the team and is already jawing about changes that need to be made for him. This would not have been an issue if it were kept out of the media.

On a scale of 1-10 this would be a 3. But what is has done is set presedence. Any whining going forward will catch more attention then it should.
