We'd have the best offense in the league with Desean. Two elite receivers, a top 5 tight end, a pro bowl running back, a top 10 quarterback, improving offensive line... but pretty much the same as any other potential free agent signing, only if the price is right. I wouldn't worry much about him being a "head case"... him and Dez are cool, he hasn't acted up recently, and I think he just wants to win. The only guy I wouldn't touch because of attitude problems is Incognito, I think Desean would be fine here. But I'm betting the Pats or 9ers offer him a much bigger deal and he goes to one of them.
New England would be crazy to take Jackson because of the alleged gang ties. It may all be untrue, but after the Hernandez murders last year, I don't think they get anywhere near him and I don't think the league would let them.

For the record, I'd bring him in. At least it would be entertaining in an otherwise lost year.

Supposedly the Chiefs have reached out to DeSean. Who knows him better than Andy Reid?

This is a mistake by the Eagles. Maybe a product of Chip Kelly's arrogance in his own system.

DeSean barely was averaging 1000 yards before Chip came to Philly. This past year with Chip he had a career best 1300 yds.

Chip will be fine w/o him, it's all part of his system.

chip kelly being cocky thinking he can replace him with a rookie WR

I would much rather roll with WR Brandon Cooks in the draft than Jackson. I think the Eagles are probably thinking the same. Either Cooks, Evans, Benjamin, Lee, etc would be an adequate replacement.

I know I am probably in the vast minority here, but I would actually consider signing him, because........

A. With Romo, Desean, Dez, Williams, Witten, and Murray, our offense would be totally bad arse. I am talking like the second coming of the "greatest show on turf".

B. We are going to need a bad arse offense because this D is not getting fixed in one offseason, Melton coming off an ACL, some scrub signings, and rookies aint going to get it done.

C. I have never heard of any gang affiliation before and the fact that 4 teams have already contacted his agent tell me that he is not a member of the crips.

D. While TO did have some off the field baggage, he actually put numbers up on the field and made our offense in 2007 very potent, sometimes choir boys don't get it done.

So I would definitely give it consideration, however I think he is going to want to much money for Jerry and Stephen to be interested.

Slot receiver and great 2nd to replace Austin. We desperately need speed. Punt returner too.

Get him.

no thanks. too many suitors. he will want to much money. not the RKG. if he was all that, why would philly let him go?

In Desean's statement after the release he thanked Andy Reid but not Chip Kelly.

He also gave Evan Mathis permission to shop himself when he went looking for a raise.

Whether he turns out to be right or wrong, he's in charge.

That is mainly because Howie Roseman is mostly a wallet type of GM. He handles the numbers.
