Definitely not looking good. However, I will let the judicial system do it's work before I come to a conclusion. Should add that I strongly dislike the Houston Texans. Certainly seems like a lot of smoke at this point. But, it's intriguing that Buzbee happens to live as close to Texans ownership as he does. Additionally, Buzbee strikes me as a scumbag even going back to his commercials during his mayoral campaign. So, at this point, there's a lot of questions that I have, and both sides seem bad. As for the women, I do feel sorry for them and in no way blame them for this situation. I think it's highly plausible if not likely at this point that there's something to this case. It seems bad, but due process must be afforded. Let's see how things play out and what happens.

I mean, we're up in the 20's now right?

It's hard to believe that all these women are working together, made up a plan, and are now just trying to get money out of him.

I hope none of this is true, but it's not looking good at all.

This is pure speculation, but if it's made up...it's not the women working together to make the plan. It's the lawyer organizing them. I just found it odd that he admitted he tried to resolve this without filing a lawsuit so the information wouldn't become public but didn't get anywhere with Watson's lawyers. If there are this many women, why would you just want to quietly get a payout and allow him to continue subjecting other women to the same behavior? Just makes no sense to me.

As I understand it, He had a first client. Watson's agent refused the settlement so they got sued. Once you file a lawsuit in Texas, it is public information. So it got picked up by the news and THEN all these other women started coming forward. Sure, they are just trying to get a pay day, but had Watsons agent just paid off the first girl, its likely this never goes public and all these other women don't get the same idea.

Why does he have so many different massage therapists? Especially during this time frame?

Most pro athletes have male masseurs to avoid exactly this kind of thing. Not that they couldn't pull something too but not as likely.

The NFL is running their own investigation as well.

I hope this is some kind of set up because I thought he was one of the good guys.

Hell, I thought he just wanted away from the Texans, maybe he worked his way through all the female massage therapists in Houston?

I wish this was the old XFL and he could have Happy Endings on the back of his jersey.

Remember some years ago they caught that FBI agent spying for Russia? He was a deacon at his church, devoted family man and worked for several charities in his spare time.

This is something I’ve been wondering about. Even if it somehow turns out he didn’t do what is alleged, this pattern ain’t normal.

I’m not trying to judge these women or say they’re lying, but I think we’re going to possibly hear that some are escorts. Some had Watson as their first time massage client, booked privately through Instagram, and he paid to fly them out to Houston.

Or maybe the kink of or a massage session that becomes something more just really does it for him. We all have our quirks, I suppose.

Who knows what to believe and just got to let the procedures play out and let the courts decide if it gets that far.

Too many stories recently of people faking stuff-lawsuits for attention/money, Smollett-election crap-DeAndre Baker etc

Also, many women are finally speaking out which is a great thing too about abuse/SA etc...

And to think that he wanted to sit down with ownership to discuss the next GM, I mean he’s definitely not too good at picking massage therapists!

I wondered if he routinely high-fived Bob Kraft going out the door.

Evidently Jane Doe 15 could really hang him. His lawyer needs to prove that one of these women is lying, not just say it. He has little credibility without proof with the count now at 16.

There is a pattern here that is damning to Watson. Most players don't "play the field" with massage therapists, especially during pandemics.

I don't think proving one woman is lying will be enough. It would have to be a significant percentage of the women. Even then, it may only take one being honest to hurt his career. At this point, his lawyers are probably keeping any proof to themselves until they can present it in court. Releasing any proof now may sway the public, but risks the important venue of the court.

Yes was just reading about her. Pretty bad stuff and builds on the pattern. I won’t quote the article as some is graphic

At this point his lawyer is probably hoping that women stop coming out of the woodwork long enough for him to try and initiate a settlement. We're way past "there's a lot of smoke" now. We've got a player who turned up his nose at using the massage therapists provided by his team to call in more than 20 different exclusively female massage therapists who all seem to be telling similar stories.
