Once this falls through, and yea it more then likely will, another group suicide-watch will need to be implimented like the one when TO was signed. Now don't tell me some of you weren't standing on a ledge contimplating that jump...you know you were. Well get ready, some of you, are, setting yourselves up for an even bigger letdown with Henson.

There should be a DH section next to TO's. This DH ____ is neverending and so tiring to see- 10 different threads a day it seems. And for someone so many of us could really give a crap about. Totally a catered subject. Just as Henson is catered towards certain posters here, TO was catered away from them...all the way into his own private, barely used, section. These two need to swap places, bring the real football player, the real Dallas Cowboy, back home, send NFLe boy somewhere else, atleast until we even know if he's ever coming back from hairy girl armpit land. This Henson stuff is just as out of control as the TO stuff ever was,...and atleast the TO stuff has died down almost to the point where, myself, and I'm sure alot of others, are even wondering why that section continues to even exist. If TO dictates an entire section to himself with the small handful of posts he merits now, Drew should get an entire board.

Like most fans, I really hope the Drew Henson experiment works out. However, I don't think he is the future. I would rather but my faith behind a quarterback that didn't fail out in baseball. I think Dallas can get Charlie Whitehurst in the 3rd or 4th round and that would be a better long term investment.

Funny. That's the same thing I think of with the anti-Hensonite crowd whenever they plague a thread. And it always seems to be the same people, or someone with a relatively small amount of posts, of which the majority seem to be anti-Henson.

Then why don't we put Henson out there on the tradeing block's and see if we can get maybe a compensation pick for him,for the waste of time and money we spent.As far as the Arena vs NFLE competition wise,I would say it would be an Arena League total domination.
My original post was made to say that Henson is no better than a quality college Quaterback,he would probably go undrafted this year.Heck even Ty and Koy Detmer are much more viable quaterback than this joker.
I won't be viewing the NFLE game for its a waste of quality time.
Like I said in the past,Henson would be a good practice team quater back at best.
I think that a tackleing dummy would have the same value to us in the NFL as Henson would.
Oh and on my way out,so what if he goes 12-41 133 yards and 2 picks.This guy will never be any better than Babe Laugenbaugh,well I shou8lnt say that atleast Babe kept his cool.

I think maybe we should seriously think about,signing this guy.He is more accurate and is able to throw in tighter spots than that of Henson.
Competition wise,I would have to say that it is about even, and Clint Dolezel has less room to maneuver around than that of Henson.This guy has a rocket arm and is deadly accurate.
But then again,if they showed the flagfootball games at our local church games,i bet all the fans would be saying how great of a prospect our paster would have been if he would have just tried out.
We as fan need to stop grasping on straws that Henson is going to pan out.You guys are starting to sound like the old Steeler's fans who said,"Just give Kordell Stewart a few more years to develope".I honetly feel that Kordell Stewart would be a better Cowboys prospect than that of Henson.
It's nice to watch somebody from the cowboys play football,but I would much rather watch Irvin pretend to play ball again(Longest Yard),than sit threw an NFLE game and watch Henson struggle.

OK, some of your arguments don't make sense. Let's break this down...

First, Arena vs. NFLE is pretty incomparable. NFLE is made to be the same as the NFL, just have worse players. Regardless, NFL Europe is a better way to get a player ready for a very similar NFL experience.

Second, Clint Dolezel is 36 years old. Henson is around 26. How much longer do you really think Dolezel will be able to play, really?

Third, how can you really compare Henson to the Detmers? Henson played 1 half of a game, in which he was unfairly yanked for Testaverde. The only other way you can measure his playing ability is his play with Rhein. He probably has above a 100 QB Rating. You still bash him, saying he is no better than a "tackling dummy".

Fourth, look at Henson's stats. I bet you feel like an idiot now. Plus, Henson showed alot of calm when being rushed by the DL. He made passes on the run, etc. Too bad you never watch the NFL Europe.
