Yes, I'm using opponent's QB rating, which is a better indicator of pass defense.

Good stuff. Where'd you find that stat? Don't think NFL.com has such nuanced statistical information.

As bad as the lions offense has looked. They will found alot of holes in our secondary.

I was just bored with the Cowboys being off today and thought I wakeup the forum.

So how's the weather down there in the shallow end of the gene pool?

I'd ask you to look at the Atts. and YPA, but I doubt you'd understand.

Dont act like your superior to me fool.

The reason they had all those attempts is they kept passing for first downs.

Fool? Wow. You're super.

Where did all of those first downs get them...oh yeah.

You should try feeding the hampsters turning those wheels in the ol' noggin. I think they're starving.

And all those first downs didn't mean jacksquat except against the Patriots.

Theo's right look at QB rating if you want to get a more accurate picture of our pass defense. Who gives a crap how much yards the defense allows if we get more turnovers and win more games as a result?

Put it this way:would you rather have the 2003 Cowboys defense or the 2007?

I dont think its a coincidence that scrubs QBs like Manning and Campbell have their best days passing vs our secondary. You can twist stats anyway you want, Im not buying into it.

Manning did have a good day in Week 1, but his Week 10 performance was one of his worst this year.

Campbell didn't have a good day passing against us. And it certainly wasn't his best.

Not really a fact, Manning has had a lot worse games then that, but it sounds good to make stuff up to support your claim.

Eli (2) 23/34 - 236 - 6.9 - 1 - 2
Campbell 33/54 - 348 - 6.4 - 2 - 1

That's what you call a bad game. Were you trying to reinforce your point or mine?

Ok so he only carved us up once for 4 TDs, he still carved us up, something he really hasnt done to anyone else. Thats ok you keep making excuses as to why the defense gives up a ton of passing yards every week and is ranked 20th I will look at it with my eyes open.

28/41 - 312 - 7.6 - 4 - 1

That was our first game in a new system with our best corner. We've since improved considerably and Newman is healthy.

So what exactly was your point? Or did you not really have one?

Way to use Week one stats when we were breaking in a new scheme and were minus Newman Ellis and Tank. That's totally relevant regarding the game against Detroit.

Id hardly call giving up over 220 yards a game, a weak stat. Rodgers, Campbell and Eli all had good games vs our secondary. Even Miami passed for 280 yards vs Dallas, lets not even talk about what Brady did. No way they can beat Indy or NE unless the pass defense gets better.

we let them, we played soft zone coverage which gave them everything underneath

which they took

you guys don't get that we're trying to stop the deep pass, look what happened to Favre
