Deuce will make the team and carve out a vital role for himself on this team. The Deuce haters out their need to get used to him being on the field.

Remember when Darren Sproles had 4 targets and 15 carries in 15 games as a rookie?

If not a returner, why have that player on your roster? Deuce will probably make the 53 (though I don't believe it's a certainty that he would be claimed), but people who think he's going to get 10 touches a game are crazy. I said 6-8 a couple weeks ago, and I think that's way too high, at this point. There is just no reason to manufacture touches for him. If we're going to do that for a RB, it should be TP. Dowdle (who has looked really, really good) and Davis can do all the boring stuff.

People are also not accounting for ST, which Davis plays, and Vaughn doesn't. Your depth RBs have to be on coverage units.

It sucks what happened with Overshown. Hope he gets healthy soon. On the bright side, I'm really delighted about Vaughn. He reminds me so much of Darren Sproles with his shiftiness and his abilities. Considering that we are now a WCO team, a player like him is essential. Especially since he's hard to spot for the defence until he's several yards down field. I think they should not play him next week. Imo, his roster spot is locked, and he should be automatically on the team now.
No comparison. Sproles is bigger, faster, stronger and more athletic. Vaughn hands are bigger and he has more leg explosion (vert and broad). Sproles just happen to be on a team (Saints) that had very good bigger RBs. But anyone that played fantasy football had Darren Sproles on their team. Vaughn maybe used more due to cowboys lack of quality depth at RB. But my opinion at this poit is the only comparison is that they are under 5-7, male, and African American.

Because most of us understand what he did in college and what he's done in training camp and we can look now with the small sample size with third and fourth string offensive line in front of him and we also know that all these ridiculous facts about losing yards and having negative plays are things that saquon Barkley Barry Sanders Christian McCaffrey Alvin Kamara and other backs I seen Tony Pollard do it this happens with guys who move and need space sometimes they dance around a little more than the big bruising 3 down back like Ezekiel Elliott who just went straight forward most of the time there's a big difference but we've seen this type of skill set in the NFL already he may be a small guy but he has 5000 scrimmage yards in college he can play the position it will be in a scale down role but he will be effective we all know this because we watched him in college we see it in our front of our eyes and we use our imagination instead of being haters and see what he's gonna look like when they're actually having game plans where the offensive line has blocking schemes and he's playing behind the number one offense that's a fact he won't be as effective but in a smaller sample size..

When the haters stop saying things like that like we're overrating him when we all are using everything we know all the data we have on this kid from college has not changed in training camp or the preseason he looks like the same player now put him with the number one offense he will be as effective he just won't be doing it on a large scale like he did in college where he got the ball a lot...
