nor 748, 12 and 22 will never be touched.

There were two--Bullet Bob Hayes and EmmittHave some respect to #22 there will only be one
Bob HayesApologies is this has already been a question.thread...
At KState Deuce wore #22. Obviously a sacred number in Dallas. Any thoughts on if a drafted player, 6th round no less, is worthy of the honor of 22 in Dallas?
Tough for me... he is, in some way, a family legacy Cowboy as his pops is AD College Scouting. That's a plus.
His name is Deuce, for goodness sake. That's a given.
Still I am torn! Ultimately I think he should wear the number 22... if Emmitt gives blessing maybe?
What say you Cowboy Fam?
And Hall of Fame Linebacker Chuck Howley.Jaylon Smith wearing 54 didn't change what Randy White did. And that was even bigger disservice to the the number.

Hell no.
On a similar note elsewhere --- Aaron Rodgers chooses #8 as his jersey number with his newt team...the New York Jets. They're not giving that number out ever, especially to a 6th round pick. I don't care who his daddy is
Really hoping Howley remains healthy enough to make it to the ceremony in Canton this summer -- and that many of his teammates still here are present also. And Hall of Fame Linebacker Chuck Howley.

And 74, but that already been butchered.8, 12 and 22 will never be touched.
As a number of orher NFL teams do.The Cowboys policy is they do not retire numbers.
There was actually several players that wore 22 between Hayes and Smith. There were two--Bullet Bob Hayes and Emmitt
QB numbers are different. 9 is likely to never be worn again also. I could maybe see a DB wearing 22 down the line.8, 12 and 22 will never be touched.
or 55 ie 5'5" LOL as short person, hes my hero lol im rooting for him.0.22
I dont think we'll see a number 12 ever again for DallasI haven't seen #12 on a cowboy in a long long long time.
Ok, if they want to start the 22 club like the 88 club it isn’t starting with Deuce.88 has been forced on two players so why not 22? And Emmitt is my favorite player of all time.
