Several videos floating around. A few of us were talking in the offseason about Gibbs' ability in the passing game. But I didn't realize until we drafted him that Vaughn has just as much receiving ability as Gibbs. It's going to be fun watching him out there if he makes the team, and I think he will.

Read an article about him and his pops, where he says there's "wow" players and "whoa" players. Wow players walk into the room and pop immediately, because of their physical size, strength, speed etc. Dad told him you can't be a wow player, so you have to he a whoa player. Those are the guys who are overlooked, until they step on the field and showcase what can't be seen initially. Deuce took to that philosophy and has worked his tail off to be a whoa player.

He won't be cut easily. The kid has enormous heart. I believe he's going to suprise people.

You all do realize the pads don't go on until practice number 5. And there is only thud tackling in camp.

Slow your roll on little 5'5" Vaughn. Js.

Any sized person can man up. I've seen 160 pound lifters squat over 650!!

I'm just saying I think that would be a mistake to do that in the regular season with Pollard but then really open him up in the playoffs we need some fresh legs from the running backs and why not during the season have four backs running back by committee figure out again the game plan each week depending on the opponent who they activate.

I mean don't they usually have three or four on gameday?? I mean some don't get any carries but they're on special teams... so they're there if you want to give them 4 carries put them in and just let them hit that A&B gap in couple times while little backs are resting.

Same with Rojo I mean we got guys that we can do running back committee with and try to save Pollard for the playoffs,

I mean not completely save him but don't have a games back-to-back where he's getting 18 carries I'd rather see it like 13 to 15 and then get Vaughn 6 to 10 or whoever rises to the top...

I don't care like I said this dude might be my pet cat, I just want to see fresh running backs come in and just at the end of the year when the playoffs start to gear up that's when you start preparing the guys you settled on for a smaller rotation in the playoffs.

It's sort of what they did with Tampa Bay Super Bowl year with Tom Brady they actually used Rojo as the primary back and seemed to really pull the reins back on fornette but then they flip-flopped it in the playoffs and Fournette was fresh and he ran pretty well and I think they needed to be doing that with our backs to make sure that happens for Pollard.

Heck I know this is a crazy idea somehow Ezekiel Elliott is still sitting out there around week 10,

I would want to bring him in here get him ramped up a little bit and then have him super fresh for the playoffs, just pay him non-guaranteed prorated money for the rest of the season he can come in here and maybe help the team out that he started with... I mean I think he could be a weapon if he's fresh he started out both the last two years before he got injured he looked very good averaging close to five yards per carry imagine if you flip flop the way you used him and use them four or five games at the end of the year going into the playoffs???
It would be a mistake to do that with Polard, but it’s all going to come down to how our RB situation evolves. Not only is he coming off a serious injury, but he’s also coming off a career high in carries last season. What made him effective is keeping him fresh. That’s what made Marion Barber and Felix Jones effective was keeping them fresh. Once we made the workhorses, they weren’t as effective. We have to hope we have a back who will have success between the tackles in short yardage situations and can punch it into the endzone from close up.

I'll tell you why he will be the best RB. Overall yard production. Between the tackles, screens and slot receiver. He will have more yards running and catching combined than anybody else on the Cowboys this season. Book it.
Yeah...I'm gonna go-ahead and not book that one.

Set aside whatever you believe Deuce's abilities are and consider who he's playing for. Do you really think the Cowboys have an idea how to incorporate a player of Deuce's ilk? He'll be relegated to primarily jet sweeps and special teams.

He'll have to sign his next contact to play under an offensive mind, like a Sean Peyton, for him to be relevant.

Recreating the concept of actual leadership outside of technique applications are we now?

That then is considered popular thinking now, huh?

This is the crap we'll have to put up with. It's embarrassing.

Dude, that may be embarrassing but I have to say the music matches the vid. perfectly. Looks like the Jackass crew got the Cowboys to suit up Wee Man for the day.

Ah yes, who can compete with the legendary tandem of Aaron Jones and ... ~checks notes~ .... AJ Dillon?
Check the box scores of Packers and Cowboys games. Last beat down we gave Dallas, they walked all over your defense for over 200 yards.

He looks like a peewee leaguer. He better show better hands than that or he won’t be doing any punt returns.

I saved your first one
I hope you did it’s spot on.

His size is the big concern, but he’ll be able to get lost behind the OL which could spring him. However, I just don’t see him getting a lot of carries, especially with blocking being a big emphasis with our RBs this season. We’ll likely try and get him involved in the passing game.

Is that right? I wouldn't even know. I barely know who those players are because nobody cares about the Packers.
I'm sure you don't care that the Cowboys have lost 9 of the last 10 games to the Packers. Sure.

I'm sure you don't care that the Packers are the most successful franchise in the history of the NFL. Sure.

The Packers have owned the Cowboys since 1995. Sure you don't care. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

Too funny!
