And I'm not arguing that DV will be the next Emmitt Smith or anything like that. But there is something to these shorter RBs who have a solid core with a lower center of gravity. They are next to impossible to bring down. They just bounce right off normal tackling techniques. Something just tells me that DV will succeed at avoiding major hits/contacts and slide through places where others can't.
I am hoping for that because he literally looks like a pee wee player running with these NFL players. Lol.

The 21-year-old Vaughn was selected in the sixth round of this year’s NFL Draft at No. 212 overall, with one regional scout for the AFC noting in a pre-draft report, “He’s tough and he’s fun to watch but that’s an impossible sell in our building because of the size. I think he makes it in the league, though.”

That’s some common NFL coach talk I don’t understand.“I think this guy will be a good player, but our team isn’t even considering drafting him”. That’s just ridiculous to me.

NFL coaches end up too obsessed with their scheme and measurables vs talent and tape. That’s how we ended up with Taco over Watt, he was a “better scheme fit”.

Same reason it’s funny to me that people have pooped on Detroit’s most recent draft for “reaching” for Gibbs and Campbell. Maybe they took those guys earlier than expected, but they’re both going to be complete studs that impact the game.

Is amnesia kicking in early for some of you…. As if Darren sproles didn’t just carve out a long nfl career with virtually the same measurables

There is a reason why Gibbs was a 1st round pick and Duece was a comp 6th pick.

No one, fans of other teams or NFL coaching staffs, are even the least bit concerned over Duece Vaughn.

Big Dog, you should let the rest of the country know Duece was good in college. Clearly they haven't gotten the message that hes about to tare up the league.

I saw Deuce Vaughn play twice- 2021 and 2022 when he was at K State- Both times against Texas Tech. I was skeptical about his hype until I saw this dude play. Between both games he scored 5 TDs, both rushing and receiving. He is incredibly quick, is an underrated receiver and has deceptive speed.

He’s not an every down back IMO at the NFL level. But I fully expect him to be a real weapon, getting 5-7 touches a game.

I can officially state he was good in college.

Hmm. Thought you said he had a great college career? Now it was just good?
How is that supposed to send fear down the spines of Eagles and Niners fans? Or we planning on unleashing the Duece, top secret style? Like a sneaky fake punt. I hear is the best personal protecter Fassel has seen.
Not that Duece will be a gadget guy. Fake punts will just be his side gig.
The NFL has no idea what they are in store for.

Yeah, well, Texas Tech sucked. They were 97th in the nation against the run. Giving up 180 yards rushing a game.
NFL defenses are a shade better than Texas Tech.

I quoted exactly what you said you wanted. This is exactly what you requested.

You said: Big Dog, you should let the rest of the country know Duece was good in college

Hmm yourself.

The NFL knows exactly what it is in for. There is a website called YouTube. It's a cool place where people can go and watch videos. They have some of Deuce when he was at K-St. I'm sure plenty of teams have already checked out Deuce by now.

Check the box scores of Packers and Cowboys games. Last beat down we gave Dallas, they walked all over your defense for over 200 yards.
Damn there are proud packer fans right now? You guys do know your gonna finish dead last in the NFCN right...i know I know the great lions and bears are hard to beat..lol
