Heard he was out until Thanksgiving at a minimum.

It ended Jones' season they said.
:laugh:disagree all you want. I never said Dez isn't a great receiver. He can't throw it to himself and Cassel can't throw it to him enough because in doing so, he throws it to the other team too often. Dez's return won't change things but you go ahead and keep clinging on to your false hope.
In your world adding an All Pro reciever to an offense doesn't change anything?

I've already explained why he won't make a difference and you have failed to counter my argument. He's a great receiver, but he needs Romo.

Having him on the field forces thw opposition's focus on him which opens up others underneath. Our receiving core will benefit from him presence.

Wait huh? You mean he's only great if Romo is throwing to him? I don't understand why he needs Romo? Did his rapport with Kitna mean nothing? If I recall he played pretty well with Orton too. Weeden couldn't hit the broad side of a barn last year against AZ I'd hardly blame Dez for not having an awesome game. I don't get why you think he needs Romo.

Running patterns is a good thing, but nothing stresses that foot more than being in on a play and needing to block and/or push another player out of the way. I think he looks good for this far along, but expecting the same Dez Bryant as last year right away is probably a bit too optimistic at this point. But Dez at 80% is better than what we have now. Just don't want him to reinjure the foot or injure another body part compensating for the foot.

I don't think the team doctors and or trainers would even let him out the training room doors if that was the case.

Heres a counter for you. 73 targets 43 receptions for 561 yards and 6 touchdowns. Those are his stats with Jon Kitna. Give or take a few yards in that season when Romo went down. So....you were saying?

Recheck your stats.

Not going to happen enough to matter, Cassel throws too many INTs.

Sorry, wrong stats. 27 completions on 44 attempts for 350 yards and 5 touchdowns. Those are pretty good stats without Romo in my opinion. So there is your counter. Your move sir

News flash... Kitna and Orton aren't on this team. You got the INT machine named Matt Cassel as your QB. What do you not get about that? That's not blaming Dez, either. Romo's return is the only cure for this team.

I'll counter for everyone. If you don't think having your best WR, one of your best players, and one of the best athletes in the world, on the field for a game, then there is literally no help for you, and we are all getting dumbbbbbbeeeeerrrrr for trying to argue with you. Some folks just aren't worth the time to argue with. Here's an idea. Why don't we just line up 3 TEs, a fullback, and a RB and run dives all day. When we think it's time to pass, put TWill and Street in there. They're both good enough!!!!
