News: Dez broken bone in foot

I would take a look at Hakeem Nicks tomorrow if I was Garrett.

You mean we probably should have lost tonight with Dez commanding double teams most of the game?

He was out almost the whole 2nd half with the broken bone and part of the 1st with the dehydration and was in the locker room. That's the majority of the game out.

and who do you cut to make room for a receiver who quite frankly isn't that good, doesn't know the playbook and has literally a zero percent chance of gaining Romo's trust prior to Dez coming back?

Yes, it SUCKS that Dez broke bone in his foot and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

However, if we will just put Gavin Escobar in the starting lineup and run similar sets as the Patriots, then Romo will eat them up!

What do you folks think?

I am so excited that Gregory has a high ankle sprain and not something worse.

I actually agree some what with CC. Assuming that this is a 4 week injury (5th week would be a bye week), then I think we can somewhat get by just using guys on this roster already. Escobar is no Gronk, but he's really good in the redzone. TWilliams is no Dez, but he's great after the catch. And while we all know what Beasley can do, I think we can all agree that the coaching staff's patience in Dunbar was rewarded because he was really good today. We have weapons, we just can't turn the ball over.

As long as we have Romo and the O-line intact, we can beat anyone. We'll be that much scarier come playoff time when everyone is healthy.

But imagine that news on a loss tonight!!! big time Atlanta fan tomorrow!

Anyone else thanking their lucky stars that the offense had basically the entire offseason and preseason to get practice time in without Dez? The only silver lining I suppose.

Yes.
Those final two drives were Dez-less.
Of course, it's different when a team has all week to game plan.

Brutal

Tiny silver lining is that one week will be a bye.

Bad news is he'll miss at least
Philly
Atlanta
New Orleans
New England

Lots of good offenses without Dez and maybe Gregory

That's it right there. Doesn't matter who he's throwing to if he has time.

I ust hope Romo and the team get the credit they deserve for hanging tough and never giving up. However, I have a feeling the media will focus more on the Dez injury, as if it is life threatening. This just gives them another reason to predict doom and gloom for the Cowboys.
