Dez Bryant could be Hershel Walker-lite

I think we get him on the field and let him make some catches.

Then offer him up for 2 first rounders, a second, and a 3rd and a 4th.
I'll be reasonable, they can be from different years.

I'm a believer in not getting rid of players until you've got a suitable replacement waiting in the wings,,,

Thank you.

But You can have opinions and still have a discussion about it? EVERYTHING should be discussed.... every option should be considered.

I think his "Dez-ness" has earned the discussion.

Make it a Joey Galloway type deal (2 1sts) and I'd think about it.

*edit*

You know what...I didn't see the 2 1sts in your post.

Yes I'd do that trade, lol. Who wouldn't?

I think anybody on this roster should be considered tradable. ANYBODY.

Granted, the price for guys like Romo, Zeke, Dak, and definitely Dez, could be prohibitive, but they should be considered tradable, nonetheless.

Not ever going to happen.
No player has that type of value these days.
NFL teams love draft picks way too much.
We have no interest in trading him....and we wouldn't get value in a trade.

I like Dez but who is going to give up all that for him? I would love it if that happened but he's got to prove he can stay healthy and be consistent

You'll never get that.

What's with trying to move our top player(s) before we find a suitable replacement.

Yea, we won without him yesterday, but it's not like his replacement played well.

We would get a second tops for Dez.

Also, it's not going to happen because Jerry doesn't trade players. He's only done it a couple times since Jimmy left and not in the last ten years.

No one is trading anything for this knucklehead.

Stupid players get you beat.

Another dumb post ....... nobody would pay Hershal Walker light type trade to a receiver who is always hurt and has that size of contract Dez does.

Who was the last notable one? Antonio Bryant for buttefinger Morgan?

In my opinion, top-tier receivers are one of the most overvalued commodities in the NFL from a salary cap perspective. Especially in this offense, where it isn't about dropping back and throwing it to one guy. You have a chance to be equally (if not more) competitive by putting together a receiving core more like, say, the Giants, where Odell Beckham, Victor Cruz, and Sterling Shepard combined make up about 60% of Dez's cap hit.

That said, you don't get rid of a guy without having a way to replace him. I would certainly be looking at throwing draft picks at the WR position over the next couple of years, though, just to hedge my bets against Dez's contract demands when his current deal is up.
