The agent gets his cut though right? Isnt that how it works, they get their percentage upfront?

Yeah. There's like a 3% agent fee. I imagine if Kim and Tom are both on the contract as reps, then they split.

They are going to have some negotiating to do next year if DAL wants to lower his cap numbers....they should either add some dummy years to pro-rate a restructure or they will add a couple real years to the contract but will have to add some more guaranteed money..

DAL would be wise to stick with Dez longer than most WRs because his game is more power than speed...he is more of an Anquan Boldin type that has aged well...not that Dez is even old....he is still just 27

What information do you have to call him a fool for wanting to be solely represented by Kim and Roc Nation. I haven't heard one bad thing about them from the people they already represent or from any so called reports in the media. Not one thing. Jay is a person with an outstanding business reputation.

Roc Nation probably has the richest CEO of any of the current rep agencies. He doesn't have to rip anyone off. This isn't Sug Knight we are talking about.

Makes me say hmmmmm!

Yeah, Jerry went out and personally met them and had nothing but amazing things to say about them. A player and their rep is a relationship that's not understood by many. It's a very close relationship.

A fool and his money are soon parted.

I predict he will be suing Roc Nation in the future.

I doubt it...HOV don't play that and Roc Nation is here to take care of athletes and help them build wealth and grow their brands......I don't see anyone else beside wack Rita Ora sueing Roc Nation...Your hate is fueled by your hate for Jay Z.....that will only lead you to the Dark Side

I'm sure if you took a few seconds and Googled it will do much better then I at listing their athletes. Kevin Durant and Todd Gurley off the top of my head. You stated you haven't heard anything either way, and that's exactly my point. No news is good news so why are people criticizing the move when there has been no problems with the athletes they represent.

I bet if it was reversed and Dez had dropped Roc Nation and he hired Tom Condon, these post bashing the move would not made. Again makes me wonder why?

So you don't know..............figured.

I asked a honest question.

Didn't need a lecture mainly because i don't give a rat's ***.

We know why
Roc Nation Led by very smart, charismatic and intelligent black guy that grew up in one of America's Worse Cities, during one of America Worse drug eras. The same black guy that got good grades in school, sold dope to help his family and WISELY SAVED CLOSE TO A MILLION OF THAT TO LEVERAGE HIS OWN RECORD LABEL and DISTRUBUTION DEAL, Than later become the head of the record label taking no salary ONLY HIS MASTERS and making sure his contract said that any artist he signed while President of Def Jam he could take once he left......Oh did I mention the majority of what he touches turns to gold, his wife is WHO BEYONCE....most still want him under the jail for what he did in the 80's.....I guess yall still hate Tim "The Toolman" Allen too..

Nope I didn't know. Only know the two I quoted and I wasn't trying to lecture you. But since you don't give a damn anyway, why post in this thread?

Doubt it, WME-IMG paid 4 billion for the UFC.

You should do research before you post. WME-IMG has co-CEO's (Ari and Patrick) and their combined net worth is a whopping $60 million. Shawn Carter (Jay-Z if you don't know his real name), is worth a measly $600 million.

You do know that partnerships and credit will allow you as a whole, to purchase things much more valuable then one's actual net worth. But you did know right.

The reality is.. he really doesn't need a football agent anymore. Tom got him his money.. He's not going to get a third contract. I believe Kim can handle any contractual adjustments the Cowboys may want.

At this point, the value of Roc Nation will be in the marketing aspect of his career.

Shhhhhh this goes against the narrative
