Well to be fair. Butler pretty much did the same thing, and he's now sporting the star. Question is, would Dez be more productive than Butler, and any other reciever on the squad? Having been served a huge helping of humble pie, it may have eradicated the side of Dez, that wasn't liked by certain teammates, coaches and fans.
they should cover the people in the first row... Dak is just as likely to complete a pass to them.True, though Butler didn't throw team mates under the bus. As for Dez being more productive than butler. I don't know. I believed last year that he wasn't a true #1 anymore. #1s get double covered and teams didn't even bother double covering Dez anymore. Hard to tell how far he has fallen.

There is a myriad of reasons....... look at the teams that could actually benefit from a veteran like Dez.......or better yet, eliminate the teams that cant really use him.If you are a team that has zero chance of really contending... why would you want him? So take all of the teams with QBs in their first 2 seasons and basically eliminate those teams. They are looking down the road and dont need a personality like Dez.Now eliminate the teams that are in not the best shape with the cap. Now eliminate the true contenders that dont need a WR...I mean you can quickly see how you could get down to only a couple of teams. Also add in the fact that the Cowboys screwed him over, and instead of releasing him early, they released him after teams had basically signed all the free agents out there.I guess the Jury is still out on Dak. BTW out of curiosity, why do you think Dez hasn't been getting the offers he wants?
You make it black and white.
I think its various shades of gray.
the team has made its statement..
Dez has done his..
Now both parties are wounded and neither has found an answer.
To me its about the whole team..
not just Dez like you say.
But if you are trying to put the best team on the field..
so far we are underachieving with the WRs.
Time to take a chance to help ourselves.
We missed the boat with Earl Thomas for now.
Do a deal with Dez he can achieve and make his money back if he performs.
That's all I want.
I want to win.
Pride is not an issue and should not be with his teammates.
Winning has a tendency to overlook things if necessary.
I think Dez in Dallas is necessary.
Dez Bryant can still play, this narrative that he can't is just foolishness. So he leaves and I guess the whole receiving core takes off numbers out the roof, let's just face it the quarterback is just not a good passer at this time no one in this league would do well on the Cowboys right now.
I'm not for resigning him because of what has happened. Anyone would be fools to think day one that he wouldn't be the best receiver on the team.
Nobody cares what you think
I'm going to just put this out there.... http://suicidehotlines.com/
Just in case this does happen.
Some on here will definitely need it.
So, Opposing defenses are up late at night wondering how they can stop Zeke, and possibly Dak. But,, Hurns? Beasely? Gallup? Swaim?
Really? I get that Dez wasn't good last season. What is sad is that he is still better than what they have right now. When Zeke becomes your main WR., There's a problem.
Do you think that's because their defense is really good or that Brady had a very rare bad game? And it was 65.
Umm no. Not like Brown. Keep trying to justify Bryant's antics.

Actually the idea that Dez cant play seems to be shared by 32 NFL teams. Even Josh Norman found another team. The dude just can't play and is in a day dream world in which he thinks he is somehow still relevant.
Dez is 29, not 39. Also, the Ravens and Browns thought he could play but Dez made a bad decision by not taking either one of their offers.
Right...but but butler has a connection with DakYou’re right. He only threw coaches under the bus. No biggie
