I have a feeling the price tag that Dez’s camp is putting out there is what is keeping him unsigned. Even if he’s not a top 10 receiver anymore, he’s probably still top 50 which would make him a top flight #2 receiver most places in the league. Him not having a job doesn’t really make sense unless there’s something health wise going on or an unrealistic asking price.

Or maybe he just isn't any good anymore and teams won't pay much more than the vet minimum for him?

I think you take him back. For this one reason. He wants to prove everyone wrong.

Not to mention we have no playmakers on the outside.

If Dallas makes an attempt to get Dez back then they almost have to make that phone call to Romo as well. Dez with Dak doesn't work so it would be pointless to reunite Dak/Dez. I honestly think Jerry is having this conversation with Stephan.

Just me but I think the ONLY way they consider this if Dak goes down for the year with an injury AND we are still in the thick of a playoff hunt. To be honest, I also think that's the ONLY way Romo would consider it.

Go back to day dreaming about Dez Fan Boi.
So 13 then.

You have no legit points to make. You keep yelling nonsense that isn't even true. When people correct your lies you just keep repeating them over and over.
You are not debating any points. Anyone who brings facts causes you to go back to your weird attempt to frame them into having some homosexual fantasies about Dez Bryant.

Your post are not getting any positive feedback. You are clearly an internet troll. What strange is your total fascination with Dez Bryant. You have about 10k post bashing Dez. I guess you latch on to this topic because you need the attention.

You spent so much time doing this before the season that the moderators on this board had to make a decision to automatically move any Dez thread into the dramazone.

I saw a lot of his 2017 film and he’s far from “not good anymore”. Think about how many WRs are on rosters. Over 150. He’s solidly in the top 1/3 of those unless something happened to him injury wise that we don’t know about. He’s still a #2 for most NFL teams. But you sort of made my point. He probably isn’t worth much more than an incentive laden team friendly deal but is probably asking for more. He’s not TO, but he does have a stigma attached to him so can’t be asking for anything much more than that.

Dez is a simpleton but he isn't 1/10th of the cancer TO was, or as likely to get suspended as Josh Gordon. They easily found jobs on other teams. Dez hasn't found a job. I'll give you three guesses why that is, and the first two don't count. It's because teams believe he can't play anymore.

I'm not sure why people believe that Dez is Julio Jones in his prime just waiting for some lucrative offer to come his way. That's just pure folly.

Dez wouldn't be begging to come back to the Cowboys if he had meaningful offers on the table. He would be "showing the world" how wrong it was that he was so unceremoniously cut.

Dez burned his Cowboys bridge all the way to the ground and now he's begging them for a job. That really should clue any objective person in on his job prospects. He seems to have little or no interest from teams.

Personal attack after personal attack. Smh. You want to silence all the Dez criticism because you just can't stand it. I just love how riled up you get over Dez criticism.

This post is another attempt to silence Dez criticism. How does it feel for you to be so wrong about Dez? He's begging the Cowboys for a job. Begging. It's obvious to the world. Everyone but you Fan Bois.

You need to face the facts that Dez MAY never play again. If so it won't be due to the fact he turned lucrative offers down. He's begging for a job. Does that sound like a guy who has tons of options?

Stings a little doesn't it? Go rub some robitussin on it and toughen up and don't be such a crybaby. Does criticizing Dez "hurt your wittle feewings"? Lol.

If you think Dez isn’t on a team because he doesn’t have NFL talent anymore then you are sorely mistaken. You won’t find one NFL scout that says Dez doesn’t make the cut talent-wise. Has he declined? Yes. But despite his loss of burst he’s still a strong, big body WR with big hands. He’d be a very good possession / move the chains / red zone WR for a vet QB that knows where to put the ball. It’s the baggage he brings and the asking price that has teams scared. Will he quietly accept the position of being a role player without poisoning the clubhouse and will he sign a team friendly deal? Teams think the answer to both is “no” so Dez sits at home.

And show me one person who has said he’s a Julio Jones caliber WR. Now you’re just making crap up.

I hate to say it, but Josh Norman summed it up well when he said that Dez was just another guy. there was a video about Drew Pearson talking about wide receivers and what gets them is when they start getting injuries on their legs. What happened to Miles. What happened to Dez. And he said the only way to overcome that is for those receivers to take their route running to another level, and you clearly see that with Jason Witten who was slow as heck, but was a great route runner so he stayed productive. If Dez could run routes like Irvin could, he would still be a #1 today.
What happened to josh Norman he actually plays and no one talks about him

He is not the type to quickly acclimate to a new scheme unless the new team alters their scheme for him.

He struggled to learn the Cowboys scheme and he was here 8 seasons.

Once he didn't go to training camp with a team, his chances of getting signed drastically declined.

Based on his comments he thinks a Super Bowl contender will have an injury to a WR and will then pay him big money to join their team. He thinks that if he joins a SB contender that they will become the favorite to win the SB.
