Dez Bryant vs. Justin Blackmon

I pick Dez every time. I'm tired of reading all this bull**** about Warren Moon calling Blackmon a Dez Bryant with more brain cells. Especially now that Blackmon got busted for the DUI.


I think Dez is more talented and gifted athletically in every way and will definitely have the more successful career of the two receivers.


Who do you believe will be the better pro?

Both are great players.

I agree with you that Dez is more athletic though and give him the edge. Plus, Dez has Romo throwing to him and Blackmon is in Jacksonville.

more athleticism, and I think he's actually maturing right in front of us.

one sagged his pants, another one gets wasted and drives drunk regularly.

blackmon is also in jacksonville. that's like a black hole for talent.

Just as I could not care less whether Jerry Rice was better than Michael Irvin, I could not care less about Justin Blackmon and Dez Bryant comparisons. My expectations for Dez Bryant start-and-end with him helping this franchise compete for Super Bowls. Extracurricular drama is just that.

Dez..not even a competition...

Blackmon is nice, and has some skill.....

But Dez is on another level especially when it comes to body control, sheer strength and tracking the ball in the air

The best to ever do it was Randy....he's light years ahead of everyone..but the people who come a little close are...Larry, Megatron, and Dez

I find it funny that Dez was drafted so low due to character and Blackmon got the DUI.

Scouts read wayyyy too far into character issues during player analysis.

I do appreciate Justin Blackmon in some ways.

I'm glad he attended Oklahoma State along with Dez Bryant.

I'm happy that he was drafted higher in their respective drafts than Bryant.

It pleases me that Blackmon is getting props which may or may not be warranted.

I doubt that all these things are not being ignored by Bryant. It will not surprise me if it all helps fuel his already enormously high competitive nature. If he can focus that energy into his playmaking ability, it has the potential of really paying off for Dallas in a big way.

Because I thought Blackmon didn't have the mental issues Dez has.

Now obviously I have to reconsider that with this DUI.

But I'd be lying if I said I would have picked Dez all along. I still don't believe he'll ever be as good as he can be and it has everything to do with the mental side of the game.
