they were talking about it one day, all the different systems in their playbook (maybe it was player?) anyway its a huge amount to learn
they have all the option read stuff, things theyve never used. but theres just a part of it they like to use as base looks

And Bryant was a huge part of that. His restricted route tree was a problem. If he was supposed to run a 14 yard dig and then instead ran a Dez dunce route, it simply required the defense to lay back and focus on the other players.

There is a reason that practically any top cornerback could neutralize him with relative ease.
