That so called inch may cost us three weeks WAS IT WORTH IT ? - I am all for picking your times to fight for the yard like near the goaline BUT our team leads the league in 3rd down conversion percentage It was a stupid play and if you as a fan cannot recognize that i cannot help you ! My point about the jersey is that i am a huge dez fan not a hater.

A great receiver knows or recognizes when to give up on a play, play smart and stay healthy ! That inch really means a lot now doesn't it SMH

I fully understand the mindset Dez was in. I've done it myself. I'll have something that's bothering me health-wise and I'll just ignore it because I'd rather not have to deal with the bad news a doctor might give me.

It's not really comparable, though. An athlete being scheduled an MRI or xray, etc., would fall under a job requirement. No different than anything else one is told to do on the job.
