I can't wait to see Dez back out there, but he better be 100%... Dez without Romo is like Harold Melvin without the Blue Notes, you'll never go platinum!

But if the bone's healed, it's healed, right?
Could it be healed in 4 weeks?
The bone is not healed and they will rush him back.
I was told there was no way he is back before Thanksgiving at the earliest.
People here told me so.
No they won't. They're not stupid. Dez is a cornerstone for this franchise. If the bone has healed and the doctors clear him Dez will play. If not he'll sit out another week. Don't know what's so hard for this for people to grasp.
I hope he plays against the Giants! I hope Matt looks for him early and often. Let's open up this offense almost full strength folks
If Dez is in the lineup for Cassell's first game Weeden is REALLY going to be pissed.
Did those guys have professional training staffs that were responsible for their short and long term health?I'm pretty sure if you had Dez's talent and his contract and you were playing for the Dallas Cowboys - you wouldn't be on the couch. You'd be out there busting it every day to get back. Years ago I played in national fast pitch softball tournaments and I knew guys who tried to come back from ACL's and rotator cuff surgeries way too early just to play and they would hurt themselves all over again. Nobody cared about them, it was softball for God's sake - they just wanted to get out there and compete.
When you're young - honest - you just want to play no matter what.
Dez is undoubtedly a sure bet to want to come back ASAP and Jerry sure isn't one to discourage such things.
Whether his foot decides to cooperate with that plan or not remains to be seen. All we can do is hope it works.
Sometimes, docs allow the players to make decisions based on how they feel. If that's the case, Dez will play.
The guy is not human! I'd still be sitting on the couch afraid to walk!

I would work him back into the mix slowly. He would NOT get his normal # of plays during the game until the last quarter of the season. He would NOT get his normal practice reps during the week. I would not have him running the entire route tree until the last quarter of the season. His value will be in commanding double teams...redzone threat.....3rd and short...he does not need to catch 50 yards bombs as soon as he gets back to provide value...so I hope they insert him judiciously!
P.S. - also, he does not to try to break 20 tackles after the catch.
