I broke my ankle in a motorcycle wreck and only had a cast on for 5 to 5 1/2 weeks. I was 45 when that happened. Of course I didn't go out and play professional football afterwards either. But, Dez is a world class athlete at the peak of his physcal life with the best medical care that can be had. I'm sure these people know what they're doing.

I was 17 when i broke mine it was 5 weeks for good measure as the doc said, I was playing pick up basket ball the next day. I had a slight limp and discomfort but it went away with in a few days.

No they won't. They're not stupid. Dez is a cornerstone for this franchise. If the bone has healed and the doctors clear him Dez will play. If not he'll sit out another week. Don't know what's so hard for this for people to grasp.

Lots of Dr's in this thread. If he is cleared to play it means he is healed and can play. No one is going to risk giving him clearance if they think that it is not 100% or that they think he could re-injure it.

He has to cut down on the extra effort he puts in when his legs are wrapped up. Same way guys like romo and Brady fall to the ground when they feel a sack coming, sometimes you just gotta live to fight another day. Fighting for one or two yards while your whole body is twisting around your legs isn't with it

Like I've been telling y'all for a month now, I was jogging at week 4 with mine 20 years ago. Medicine, doctors, rehab have all got a lot better in 20 years. You're also dealing with one of the top athletes in the world. There's nothing spectacular or crazy about it. Y'all crack me up!!!
