If both perform at their probowl levels next year and both demand top dollar, which one do you keep?

I say Hardy cause its do hard to replace his production.

Both. They can franchise Dez again if needed.

I would make every attempt to keep both. Possibly resign Hardy and hit Dez with the franchise tag again.

For the sake of the thread though, if i could only keep one it would probably be Hardy. You wouldn't simply replace the lost production from Dez with anyone, but i really do believe that with the favorable offensive rules that WRs are becoming the new RBs of the league. Most teams have a very respectable X receiver anymore, and those who do not typically have a good slot wr or receiving TE. Just look at the production that came out of the WR position in the draft a season ago. You could see a duplicate of that this season as well. The NFL is becoming over saturated with WRs. Not saying everyone is on the same level as dez but the drop between Dez and the average WR is not as much as the drop between Hardy and the average DE.

This. DEs who can sack the QB are harder to find than WRs. Not saying Dez isn't awesome, but if you're forcing me to choose ....

There is plenty of cap room to keep both and both play a position that the team is willing to pay the premium.

Why do people keep saying keeping Hardy isn't worth it or that there's no point? Since when has there been no reason to keep one of the best pass rushers in the game? Especially on an otherwise horrendous defense with no pass rush...

Because we just saw what elite pass rushers make this offseason. Id rather have a second tier pass rusher and not cripple the team. Its really easy to see why building through the draft is absolutely the correct way to do things. Free agency is to add complementary players. When you build your team around free agents, you go decades without any success. For reference, refer to the previous 2 decades of the team youre allegedly a fan of.

You gotta love this. This guy is gonna bring a different attitude to our defense.

Eh, I like a guy with fire, but that's not a video I would show to sell people on Hardy. When the game is over its about camaraderie and sportsmanship. That's actually pretty damn embarrassing if you ask me.

Both. This is a passing league. We need an elite receiver and an elite pass rusher.

Im not crazy about this, but its way less embarrassing than guys hugging their opponents after the game. Give me hate all day.

Looks like the Falcons were trash talking, and Hardy didn't like it.

Really? Cause all I see is Falcons shaking hands with Panthers while Hardy is telling them to get the f*** of "his" field. Am I missing something?

I don't know about hugs, but hand shakes seem proper. If camaraderie doesn't appeal to you, then you should be back in the locker room. Not embarrassing yourself.
