If SEA doubles DEZ Ill be shocked. They prob wouldn't double him too much even if he was 100%

If I'm the DC, I"m giving somebody help on Dez from the get-go.

LOL@Jerry calling his new secret weapon Lucky "Morehead".

Regarding coverage on Dez...there was an article that mentioned the Seahawks now having Sherman trail the other teams best WR. Sherm will likely be on him one on one while he plays. Even if Dallas puts him in the slot Sherm has been following the best WR into the slot as well.

I'm guessing the pitch count would be about conditioning and being in football shape and not about the broken bone. He should not be playing at all if the bone is not 100%. Pitch count or not.

NOOOOO!!! ... ~ Cary Williams

The Seahawks have been doing something totally different with Sherman this year than in year's past.

He is now shadowing the best opposing receiver instead of just playing his side. He's shadowed A.J. Green, Cobb etc. and done pretty well with them.

When Bryant hits the field, they are undoubtedly going to have him right there. So unless Bryant is physically up for the challenge and can beat Sherman one on one, our other WRs will be left to their own inability to beat their man.

Of course Dez will be up to the challenge. Why wouldn't he be? Sherman has been average by his standards this season. He's not gonna be able to handle Dez one on one because nobody can.

The receivers did a much better job beating man coverage last week. Now that they actually have a quarterback under center that can make throws down field and isn't just a check down Charlie.

Jerry Jones on Tony Romo: Physically, he's really doing well. He's dying to get back on the field.

ALERT: #Cowboys developing @tonyromo ramp-up plan ideally including him practicing next Wed, Nov. 4. @1053thefan

Jerry Jones on @1053thefan says he now considers "Lucky Morehead" a weapon for the Cowboys. Wonder how WR Lucky Whitehead feels about it?

LOL :lmao:

Lucky Morehead - you simply cannot make it up - unless you're Jerry.

Thanks for that Mr. Cowboy - I needed to smile about something today.

I wonder if they're going to limit him because of his foot or his conditioning. Hopefully he gets a few looks in the red zone. Can't settle for FG's.

I'm sure they'll monitor him carefully and his conditioning could be an issue because if you remember prior to his foot injury in the opener he had to head to the locker room due to dehydration. He didn't play at all during preseason and it had an affect. With him out with an injury the past 7 weeks dehydration could become an issue again.

It is not about Bryant being "up" for it. We know that. Whether he is 100% physically ready and able is the other story. If he is not at that level, Sherman could shut him down. Healthy elite receivers he has mirrored this year are not killing him.

Nonsense. He's just going to step right and dominate, because, well, we all desperately want him to.

Pitch count, No Pitch count this is great news! He will be worked back in slowly unless he is just tearing it up, and at that point you just let him do his thing.

I would expect you see him on first down and crucial 3rd downs and Red zone plays

Just wish we had our ace throwing him the ball

All it takes is a linebacker or a dline man to stomp on that foot in a pile up.

yeah, and the way the NFL handles discipline we will lose dez for the year and he will get an 11,000 dollar fine and a 4 minute suspension, next thanksgiving

Apparently some seem think that and they'll probably be sadly mistaken. It's not likely that he'll be 100% and his conditioning won't be near where it needs to be resting a broken foot since the second week in Sept. A few controlled practices aren't going to get him in game shape and trying to get on the same page with Cassel who's he's never played with isn't going to happen in one game. Those two are going to have to get their timing down it took Romo awhile to get on the same page with Dez.

Dez just being on the field is going to draw attention to him which should open up some opportunities for our other receivers but I advise everyone to temper their expectations until we see where he's at physically. The Cowboys are clearly rushing him back because their season is in trouble and they need to provide Cassel with a lethal weapon to help him. I doubt Dez will be as quick coming out of his breaks with his foot still going through the healing process.

There's always a chance of a setback during the game because Dez only knows one way to play and that's all out. He hasn't done much cutting and once his instincts take over in the game he might pull up and have to come out. The Cowboys have to be careful with him and he has to play smart and go down when he's surrounded by defenders and not try to fight for every yard he can get.
