" you are going to love what we got going on"...

It sounds to me like Dez has let the cat out of the bag, sounds like it could almost be a done deal.

".....waiting"

Towards the end of their career some veterans are willing to play at a discount for the right team, one that could give them a ring.

I know he wouldn't be cheap but he wouldn't cripple the cap, either.

The team of the 90's had their smattering of veterans signed from other teams, particularly in the secondary with Ray Horton, isaac Holt, and Thomas Everet. They sere integrated into a very young core of DB's drafted by the Cowboys like Darren Woodsen, Kenny Gant, Larry Brown, Kevin Smith, and Brock Marion.o

Revis' response could be a bit telling as well

I'd like it only if it is incredibly team friendly. I just don't see him beating OScan for the position in camp. And even if he out-plays Carroll, we have some mullah invested in him.

I don't see him making the 53, in any chance in hell, over ABrown, Chido, Lewis, and certainly BJones. And he's not a SS, so he won't beat out Heath or Frazier (or Woods, if he is, in fact, battling for the SS spot).

Still, it's nice to have some stuff to chat about during these slow times of the offseason. Thanks, Sepia.

I'm not even close to being convinced that Revis has enough left to make a difference in our defense that's worth what he'd ask. I'd venture to say there's nothing wrong with taking a looksee at him but as far as paying him handsomely, I'm doubting it'd be worth the investment. Buyer, beware!

Revis is getting paid 6M from the Jets to sit on the couch. It's going to take a lot of money to lure him back, and Revis has been notoriously greedy at the negotiating table in his career. He was horrific in coverage last year, and unless he commits to being in top condition, it shouldn't even be a consideration.
